Ok so this impressed me so much I had to make this review. I work at a powdercoating facility that uses a very expensive mil measurement device along the same lines as this one. I also own a small powdercoating business that I do on the side as a side hustle, the only difference is the company I work for has big money to buy expensive testing equipment but as for me I don't. So I took thus to work and did I side by side test and it was a great pleasure to know my inexpensive but just as accurate mil thickness gauge come to the same thickness number as the much much more expensive tester. The margin of error was .01-.02 in mills. In my book that a match. So I would definitely recommend this 100%.
