This doughnut kit gave me a chance to zero in on the equipment needed to produce tasty doughnuts. Doughnuts are like waffles, more fun to eat than pancakes, but an increase in equipment and technique. Unlike raised doughnuts, the cake doughnut's taste is in the dough, so I wanted to test the temperatures and baking times before starting. This answered those questions.
