ColumbiaWomen's Peakfreak Ii Mid Outdry Hiking Shoe

1st time hiker and I really liked these Columbia boots. Don't have to “break them in”, not too heavy, durable thru rock, mud and steep inclines. Great price and great support.

Light weight, incredibly comfortable, and keep my feet dry (but not overheated!). Got these for daily use in Puget Sound. Used daily for hikes in the woods, and walking the dog over wet pine needles and rocky beaches. Love the treads, ankle night is supportive but not constrictive. Easily goes from hiking to errands. Sneaker-like comfort. I have a shallow bridge and these did not even need 10 mins to break in. Absolutely perfect.

Like: the fit, color, padding in foot.Dislike: had to order twice due to sizing. Due to reading reviews.I wear size 8. Had to reorder size 9. Order up a size.Return was very easy.

Wore these backpacking in Yosemite (33 miles, 5,000+ elevation gain) and they are amazing!! Never had to break them in or anything. Highly recommended! They’re very light but also durable. The picture shown is after the 33 mile hike and several others. They should hold up great and much more comfortable than the Merrill’s that I tried.

Surprisingly lightweight which was very important for me. Three days of hiking through Rocky Mountain National Park from dirt to gravel to snow and mud, these shoes were comfortable and keep my feet dry the whole time. The traction felt ample without being overly knobby on the bottom. I have a higher arch and these really worked for me.

The shoes are good quality, they arrived on time, but they are small, I normally wear a size nine, but these fit me a little tight. I recommend buying half a size up.

They came in a plastic bag, no box. The shoes themselves felt cheapy. Maybe too “breathable” / thin? But they’re definitely not giftable like we intended!

I haven’t wet tested them yet but so far loving these boots. I sized up half a size to a 5.5 & they’re perfect… and my feet are fairly wide. They’re such a perfect fit that I could wear normal socks or thick socks & they’d be fine either way. I’m writing this because I really struggle to get footwear that fits.They’re lightweight but supportive & not so high that they dig in to my shins… so if they’re as waterproof as they claim they’re perfect.

Stabiler Wanderschuh, der auch Wasser abkann. Wir laufen/wandern mit Kind im Urlaub in den Bergen. Der Schuh war bequem ab Tag 1 ohne blasen zu bekommen. Kleinen Bächen und Dammbauprojekten hat er standgehalten und ich hatte stehts trockene Füße.
