Its more a berry, however, very pigmented! Creamy and colorful, I'd apply a balm or gloss on top, as I found it to be kind of drying. Moisturizing lip primer makes it all better. I love the shade, not a mauve, mind you, its more a berry, a wine color. It applies well; glides across lips with no effort. Unscented, good value for the money.

This lipstick really does provide effective moisture and chapped lip protection. It is lightweight and lasts longer. It has been advertised for women over a certain age. The colors are mostly mauve except the one ruby color. But the cost is prohibiting to many.

I could not find my red lipstick and went on Amazon for a quick delivery of whatever red lipstick before Christmas; I was very surprised with this lipstick; I was not expecting much; did not think of LG as quality. But it is a beautiful red and I love the texture, creamy and stays on pretty long for a cream lipstick. I also like that you can smudge on a little for a natural look, or go full glam. I am a very pale Nordic Blonde with a cool undertone; it's hard to wear red without it being overwhelming; I think this must be a blue red, which makes it work.

Oh yes! Laura Geller New York for the win (again). Great color that I did not have to reapply throughout the day. I used the virtual try on tool and was pretty amazed at how well it worked! Good amount of moisture though I did apply some lip balm after eating my lunch.

I’m so sad- this is the PERFECT shade of red… when I was I. The makeup/skincare business I knew most all makeup came out of one place and then the big brands would put their name on it- same product, just put their name on it- the best red ever was Micro Scarlet. This is Micro Scarlet!! So why doesn’t it get 5*? Because the two times ai used it for an entire day, I received a lip pimple on the line of my lip- you know what I mean- not a lip herpe- I’ve never had that. But after the first one, I thought, well Holidays- ate a lot of sugar- I’ll try again…… nope- it’s too inclusive. Doesn’t breath.

Very good, smooth, moisturizing. It stays for a long time.

I am 69 years old with deep wrinkles above my top lip. All of my other lipsticks bleed, just a little above my lip line but it is obvious. I thought I just have to live with it. Not anymore! This lipstick is creamy, a beautiful rose color, can be worn with red or pink, AND it stays on my lips and not above my lip line in wrinkles!

I can't recommend these Laura Geller lipsticks enough. Goes on like butter, long lasting, does not dry out lips with great colour saturation. Have paid more for other brands which have little colour and dry out my lips. Recommend and will buy in other colours!!!! Have also red option, perfect blue red that goes with any complexion. Rate over my Chanel and Mac reds and v similar to Bobbi Brown's red stiletto.

A lovely natural shade . It feels nice and creamy on the lips. It does last longer than many I've tried in the past. Excellent product from Laura.

This is described as luscious, it is not. It's a matt finish and stays on reasonably well. The colour is not as rosy as I had hoped. Despite the discount it is still over priced.
