Excellent quality for subbing on
I've been using PYD products for a long time and have had great luck. These are no different, they sublimate beatifully and cut perfect with my laser cutter. Defintely recommend PYD products!

Great sublimation MDF for a good price
Works great for me. I add a low tack masking paper to the sublimation side before laser cutting. Any burn marks wipe right off and then I seal the edges with acrylic paint. Sublimates beautifully at 390F and 70 seconds.

Game changer!
Sublimates beautifully and cuts easily with my diode laser.

Subs well, be prepared for a bit of dialing in on your cuts
Bit of a learning curve to cutting these, for some reason I had to slow my 22w laser down by 25% to cut them in one pass, vs the 3mm white board I normally cut with it. No cutting instructions are provided, so you'll have to experiment to find the sweet spot for your laser. Unfortunately that'll result in some material loss (these boards aren't cheap!) but I put a piece of paper down, burned a 12x12 square on super low power to get my sheet perfectly aligned, and then test cut a series of small circles across the bottom of the sheet until I found what went cleanly through. In all I wasted maybe half an inch of my first sheet, which isn't too bad. I also found that with small items (earrings) the white coating was chipping, coming off and ruining my blanks when I tried to remove the film- so I ended up removing the film before cutting. Not ideal as it means more cleaning work, but I wiped my edges down and polished the face of each piece with a wet wipe and any soot/smudges came off fine. Apart from that the quality is good and they sublimate very well. I press them at the same time I use for all of my whiteboard subs- 400F for 50s. Colors come out bright and clear and everything looks great. This material has a high gloss to it, more so than my normal board.

Loved!!!!
I wanted to create sublimated keychains! This product worked well inside the glowforge by cutting specific shapes and sizes. Color took to this material well! And it’s not too thick or heavy but it’s not thin either. I’ve made photo frames, key chains, magnets, etc. very functional and easy to use material!

Most Have A Blemish or Marks of Some Sort
I wanted to love these, I really did and even though I'm not happy, I'm not going to complain too much. I mean, at this point It Is What It Is! I'm going to try to provide some photos, even though, the photos barely show up, but I promise you, I'm not the type of person to "make" things up. Most people who know me, know if I take the time to "say it", you can take it to the Bank. So, I've used like 5 of these things and I noticed on a my first 3 designs, when were Red White and Blue in color (I'm a Graphic Designer and an Army Veteran so I design with those colors quite a bit) there were these "very tiny" but noticeable black spots in my Reds or in my whites. I didn't notice any in my blues. So, lets just say I'm sublimating a US Flag, I had tiny black spots in my Red Stripes and my White stripes, all in sporadic and random places each time. I was thinking it was my paper, but I would look at the next design after printing and every stripe was Solid, only "after" sublimating would I get the spots. So I go to peel the plastic off of a "Fresh" board today and soon as I get the "Protective Plastic" off, I'm noticing these "very subtle, hazy spots on my Suppose to Be Clean White Sublimation surface. Almost looks like a faint ink smudge. Me being one "Not" to gripe and moan, I went to go get my Alcohol Spray bottle, see if I could get the mark off. If Army didn't teach me anything else, it taught me how to Improvise, Adjust and Move on. But I said all that to say this...I'm not sure what's happening during the manufacturing process or packaging process, but some how some crud and debris are getting up under the "Protective Plastic Film" and ruining some of these boards. I mean I would get through a press and see my beautiful colors popping and be thinking, "Aw Man, this came out ni........ce???" What the heck are those spots right there" after deeper inspection. I don't know. I've still got a few more boards to go, hopefully they don't do me like these first ones, but at this point, I'm not sure I would purchase again. : (
