Excellent, sets hard and fast. Brilliant for 1700s stone.

I used this product for the first time last month, to fix threaded bar into a brick wall. It sets very quickly, and does a good job. The reason it dosn't get 5 stars - unless you are using the resin in one go, you will need spare nozzles, as within 5 minutes the resin had set hard in the nozzle, and I was unable to carry on using it, until I purchased more nozzles. A warning the back of the tube and a spare nozzle would be helpful.

I purchased this product on the recommendation of a fellow Amazon reviewer who, like I, was installing a MASTERLOCK Garage Protector. I’d no previous experience of using Anchorset so didn’t know what to expect but I can honestly say it saved me from a very embarrassing and potentially costly situation. Having followed the instructions meticulously for installing the MASTERLOCK Garage Protector I deviated slightly by filling the holes, drilled in the concrete floor to take the rawl-bolts that fastened the base-plate of the Protector to the garage floor, with Anchorset. I also smeared the bottom of the base-plate with Anchorset. Then, having tightened the rawl-bolts to fasten the plate to the concrete, I followed Masterlock’s recommendation of smashing the supplied ball-bearings into the heads of the two rawl-bolts (to prevent someone using an allen-key to undo the bolts. Not that they could anyway as both rawl-bolts are inaccessible once the Protector is in place). I had reservations of carrying out this last stage of the installation as once started there was no going back! Of course the inevitable happened my well tightened rawl-bolts became loose. I was stuffed! All I could do was rely on the Anchorset to do its job. I needn’t have worried though. The next day nothing would have moved that base-plate, except probably a pneumatic drill! The Anchorset had literally set as hard as the concrete the base-plate was fastened to. I can therefore thoroughly recommend this product without reservation. One thing, however, you’d be well advised to purchase a spare set of replacement nozzles along with the Anchorset as once used the nozzle supplied cannot be used at a later date. It remains to be seen whether the resin left in the tube remains useable at a later date!

Used for a while but last few times has set within two minutes in the nozzle so even if you are amazingly prepared you can’t realistically inset more than a few anchors. They should provide a couple more nozzles if it’s going to be this quick.
