I bought these to fill with made to order sandwiches, so that I could easily carry them around to my guests. They were absolutely perfect and matched all of my white square crockery. Highly recommended

EDIT: Very impressed that seller proactively reached out to apologise. On basis of customer service, have increased rating from one star to three. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After much dithering (like, months worth of dithering) finally chose these on the strength of another reviewer who mentioned using them as watercolour palettes which is why I needed them. That reviewer was over a year ago, and can only assume they sent out the good stuff to get good reviews and then downgraded the quality as every one of the 6 plates was scratched and is absorbing the paint in the scratched areas and two of the 6 are uneven. Obviously seconds and not worth more than £1 a plate at most. Listing also claims they're porcelain - they're certainly ceramic but are more stoneware than porcelain - don't have that high pitched ting on flicking and certainly no translucency to them. Would have returned but for the fact I have too many projects pending and can't delay having the mixing space any longer. If I had ordered these for a dinner party or celebration I'd be furious.

This was a gift…..they were thrilled and said perfect for their table.
