After unboxing this beauty and setting it up, I can confidently say it's a total winner: fun, nostalgic, and surprisingly high-quality for the price. First off, the build is impressive. It's a full-size, 5-foot-tall cabinet that feels sturdy once assembled, with vibrant yellow Pac-Man artwork that pops against the garage walls. The 17-inch screen is bright and crisp, perfectly capturing the retro pixel art without any modern distortions. It comes loaded with classic games, including Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and more, plenty to keep me entertained during downtime in the garage. The controls are responsive, with a solid joystick and buttons that have that satisfying click, though I wish the joystick had a bit more resistance for precision in games like Pac-Man. Sound quality is decent too, with built-in speakers that deliver those iconic chomps and zaps loud and clear, even over the sound of the kids playing or whatever else is going on in the space. Assembly was straightforward, but here's where I have some tips for future buyers: The included installation video is super helpful. It walks you through every step with clear visuals. That said, I found it even more useful to pause it during each section to double-check my work, especially since some panels can be a tad tricky to align if you're going solo. Pro tip: Pay extra close attention at the very end when installing the bracket screws. If you accidentally grab the wrong pack of screws (the longer ones meant for something else), they'll poke right through the outside wall of the cabinet. Ask me how I know! I caught it just in time by rewatching that part slowly. Overall, it took me about 45 minutes, and no tools beyond a screwdriver were needed. Once up and running, this thing is pure joy. My buddies have been swinging by the man cave garage for high-score challenges, and it's become the centerpiece of our hangouts. No regrets on the purchase: it's like having a piece of arcade history right where I tinker and chill out. My husband had been talking about being SO good at Ms. Pac-Man as a kid. He had so many great memories of playing and he mentioned how good he was at it. Well, this is perfect! I compared prices on Walmart and this one was a great price. You can stand next to it and play. Or sit on a barstool next to it to play. The screen size it perfect. Just what you’d expect from a regular game. Game selection is great. Lots of old games to chose from. Super authentic and a perfect purchase!!

So much fun! So many game options, chief among them Miss Pacman and Galaga. Joystick works great and the machine is of great quality and the screen size is great. It's not completely full size, but it's still substantial. It would fit in a variety of rooms. I would make sure you bolt the machine to the wall so it doesn't shake while in use. Unforgettable wedding gift.

Took a bit to put together and was worth it. Loving it so far working well and good quality for the price.

If you grew up in the '80s, you will love the quality of these games. Ms Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Rolling Thunder, they are all there exactly as they were in the arcade. Gameplay is smooth and sharp, but Beware of the fragility of the joysticks. Don't push too hard on them; if it snaps, you are out of luck because Arcade1Up has gone out of business. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. There are mistakes, there are sequences out of order, and it is very difficult to tell the orientation of several parts. Take your time, skim ahead to look at how things need to line up in the advanced steps, and try not to get too frustrated. The first machine took me about 3 hours to build, the second one about 2 hours because I had the experience from the first, obviously. Good luck and happy gaming!

I enjoy playing MS PAC Man. This is a great addition to my game room (kitchen). When I was a kid I had fun at a game room near my house. This game doesn’t need money so I don’t need to search the neighborhood for returnable bottles. I spent about two hours assembling this. The directions are easy to follow. The height is perfect. I have so much fun playing that I don’t miss TV. The game is in a well built box and stands strong even when friends are helping me play.

Absolutely amazing for anybody who wants a real man cave. This is it. I mean it has all the pac man games, all of them! It’s beautiful in aesthetic and will definitely be a tearjerker to any man or woman who experienced the 80s and 90s. You can hook it to the internet to get a leaderboard and compete with others who own this. I’d say I definitely got my money’s worth with this. Very very very very fun! Not too big either, so you can stand or sit on a stool.

Old school stand up arcades are the best: Short game play times encourage sharing the game, taking turns, and making the experience fun for everyone! Highlights: 1: This arcade is well packaged. My box arrived damaged on the outside, but arcade was packaged so well, there was no damage to the actual arcade. 2: The arcade has a good selection of quality classics that all play well (rather than thousands of games you never heard of and don't play well). 3: Screen, controls, sound, and art are all great and contribute to the old school arcade experience I loved as a kid when we went to the pizza parlor. 4: After the third game the audio stopped working. I contacted customer service via the website on a Saturday night and had a response within a few hours! I worked with customer service trying out some trouble shooting steps over Sunday and Monday, and when it was clear the problem was the PCBA (the brains of the arcade), they promptly sent out a new one and made sure I knew how to install it. I was able to install the new PCBA with just a Phillips head screw driver in under 20 minutes. It was worked flawlessly ever since. The customer service experience was top notch! 5: The price is amazing compared to other arcade units.

I purchased this one after I bought the racing one for my hubby. It's equally beautiful in design. I love the retro feel of this arcade game. Makes me feel like I'm back in the day, enjoying a bit of Pac-Man at the old arcade. The only difference is... I'm cozy at home and not having to wait in line forever with my quarter to play, lol. I am the boss of this machine now. Yeah me!

Pricy, but that's partly because I live in Canada. Over $800 Canadian Dollars! But worth it for me to reexperience my younger years. I've played a lot of versions of Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man over the years but this is the first one that 'feels' like the original game, the way I remember it. Another old favourite is Galaga, also included here, and the same thing--exactly as I remember playing it. There's a Galaga 88 which I had never played before, good alternate version of the same game. As well as Galaxian, the original version of both (kinda like a more modern version of Space Invaders). Dig Dug is another game I remember from my youth, worth playing again. The other included games I haven't played too much yet, but I'm sure I'll get into them eventually. The machine itself was a little challenging to put together. It took me most of the day to assemble it, all by myself, but building things has never been one of my strong points. The fact that I did it all by myself, it looks correct and stands up by itself is good enough for me. If you're the least bit handy it should be no problem at all. It's very obviously a strong, sturdy, good quality product, which it should be for the money I paid.

For such a large item, shipping was surprisingly quick. I was able to assemble the game in a couple of hours, not bad considering I am NOT a very handy person. I am really happy with the games themselves--they're exactly as I remember them from the 80s. The joystick and firing button are responsive and seem very similar to a full-size arcade game. Overall, this was a GREAT purchase. I'm loving it.
