My box arrived damaged on the outside, but arcade was packaged so well, there was no damage to the actual arcade. 2: The arcade has a good selection of quality classics that all play well (rather than thousands of games you never heard of and don't play well). 3: Screen, controls, sound, and art are all great and contribute to the old school arcade experience I loved as a kid when we went to the pizza parlor. 4: After the third game the audio stopped working. I contacted customer service via the website on a Saturday night and had a response within a few hours! I worked with customer service trying out some trouble shooting steps over Sunday and Monday, and when it was clear the problem was the PCBA (the brains of the arcade), they promptly sent out a new one and made sure I knew how to install it. I was able to install the new PCBA with just a Phillips head screw driver in under 20 minutes. It was worked flawlessly ever since. The customer service experience was top notch! 5: The price is amazing compared to other arcade units.

Exactly as I had hoped, games are just like I remembered when I was a kid, build was easy enough. I put it together my self, and though it looked daunting, I just followed the instructions step by step and put it together without any issues. Directions are just so-so, but good enough for me to do it perfectly. From opening the box to plugging it in took about 4-5 hours. Games all play perfectly without issue. The entire game console is a bit smaller than the original arcade games, the screen and sound are great and game play feels just like in an arcade. Total build quality and playability are very high quality. I am 6’2” and no issues seeing and playing all games. So many fond childhood memories are evoked each time I play these games! A must have if you have grandchildren!

Have considered getting some version of this forever — from the MAME emulator all the way back to an original-used legacy quarter machine. Im on day 6 and Im happy with the purchase. Assembly took a bit (I think I logged just over 90 minutes) but wasn’t difficult. The instructions are great — pay close attention to the images to avoid placing a piece backwards! I think my history of IKEA construction probably helped! The whole thing goes together with a simple Phillips head screw driver. The cabinet is just a bit smaller than what my 40y old memories recall but it’s a nice size and feels like a real arcade machine from my youth. Modern LCD and electronics mean that the whole ‘gaming’ bit is basically a large iPad but the cabinet is heavy enough that it doesn’t matter. Buttons and joy stick seem solid and the gameplay is about perfect. Im sure there were instructions but I didnt spend anytime with them and had to lookup how to reset back to the main gaming menu — press player one button for a few seconds. There is some online thing available to share scores or maybe play head to head … who knows. I did allow a firmware upgrade to download.

Just like the old days... Perfect for our family room for the grandkids.. assembly was pretty easy, it's just like at the arcade.

This is such a cool gift. It's full sized and the games work as expected. Putting it together is pretty easy but you'll need your own screw driver and the instructions can be a little tricky. The main thing is they don't explain to put the wooden posts in certain parts, you have to look closely at the pictures to tell. The end result is indistinguishable from a classic arcade machine.

My husband originally purchased a different model, including these same games, as a Christmas gift for me. Its now April and we still play something on it just about every day. We have ours in the corner of our L-shaped dining room next to the pool table, and it even looks like a nice piece of furniture. We've since purchased 2 of this model as birthday gifts for our adult children, which they both loved. Nothing to dislike, just 2 things to be aware of: 1/ It cannot be put in plain packaging and is extremely heavy. If you're buying it for someone in your household consider shipping it to a neighbor or being home when it arrives. My husband had a lot of hassle because I almost saw it sitting in the porch, and then he hadn't planned ahead to get something ready to cover and hide it. He ended up somehow lugging it upstairs by himself. 2/ It takes a while to put together. He took about 3 hours, our daughter (who of course has younger eyes) took 2. With hindsight I think he would have taken the afternoon off work, put it together there and then and covered it with a blanket.

Pricy, but that's partly because I live in Canada. Over $800 Canadian Dollars! But worth it for me to reexperience my younger years. I've played a lot of versions of Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man over the years but this is the first one that 'feels' like the original game, the way I remember it. Another old favourite is Galaga, also included here, and the same thing--exactly as I remember playing it. There's a Galaga 88 which I had never played before, good alternate version of the same game. As well as Galaxian, the original version of both (kinda like a more modern version of Space Invaders). Dig Dug is another game I remember from my youth, worth playing again. The other included games I haven't played too much yet, but I'm sure I'll get into them eventually. The machine itself was a little challenging to put together. It took me most of the day to assemble it, all by myself, but building things has never been one of my strong points. The fact that I did it all by myself, it looks correct and stands up by itself is good enough for me. If you're the least bit handy it should be no problem at all. It's very obviously a strong, sturdy, good quality product, which it should be for the money I paid.

Je suis un peu déçu, tout d’abord parlons de l’assemblage de la machine : Quoi qu’un peu long à monter, les étapes que tu dois suivre sont très bien illustré, il y a cependant un petit détail qui m’énerve…pourquoi qu’ils nous donnent des maudites vises à tête croisé quand on sait que les tête carré fonctionne cent fois mieux et les équerre en plastique pour l’écran pourrait être plus longue d’un côté pour avoir plus de poigne pour visé. Ce qui me déçois le plus c’est le manche qui fonctionne très mal pour pac man, je ne sais pas si c’est tous pareil ou si je suis mal chanceux mais quand je veux tourner les coins a pac man ça ne tourne pas assez rapidement. Tout déconstruire et retourner pour un remboursement, ça ne me dit pas du tout, alors je vais garder comme ça et jouer plus à galaxian et galaga…voilà!

For such a large item, shipping was surprisingly quick. I was able to assemble the game in a couple of hours, not bad considering I am NOT a very handy person. I am really happy with the games themselves--they're exactly as I remember them from the 80s. The joystick and firing button are responsive and seem very similar to a full-size arcade game. Overall, this was a GREAT purchase. I'm loving it.
