I picked up the KastKing Pontus Foldable Fishing Landing Net expecting something a bit flimsy, but I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be much stronger than I expected, and the folding design is really convenient. Pros: Feels sturdy and well-built Folds up for easy storage and transport Lightweight but still durable Built-in length scale is a nice bonus Cons: None so far In use, it’s held up well and doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart when actually landing fish. The foldable design makes it easy to keep in the car or with your gear without taking up much space. Overall: Very impressed overall. Strong, practical, and easy to store, great value for the price.

Bought as a birthday gift for a dedicated fisherman. What caught my eye about it was the sleek design but also the size is perfect. Plenty big for fish, but not too big to get in the way in the boat. It folds up and stores away, but I have 4 stars because I struggled figuring out how to fold it back up and there wasn’t instructions on how to (maybe it’s just me though). Satisfied with purchase and it was loved as a gift! Oh and price was perfect.

For anyone like me who brings extra poles, cooler, a tackle box or two, space becomes important especially on a kayak or canoe. The shorter handle, the fact it folds, keeps guests from tripping or stepping on the pole when in a regular boat. It will fit easily into or attached to a tackle box for when you want to go by foot to a great spot.

I like the design, it's light and so far durable. My issue is that the netting itself is terrible. I have swapped it out with a Dovesun rubber net. Ill be heading out tomorrow for a week of use. Honestly, having to use scissors to cut my baits out of the net every catch isn't good. The new Dovesun net is all rubber with approx. 1" holes. It is heavier.....hopefully this net frame can handle the extra weight, if not I will get another Kast King net. I do love Last King products, don't get me wrong... this one needed a slight upgrade. If you rarely use treble baits, or barbless hooks... You might be ok with the original. I use a lot of trebles.....had to cut them out every fish.

Went fishing for the first time with a seasoned fisherman with decades of experience and he was very impressed with the reach, construction and tools given in this set!
