This multifunctional protection board has become an essential component for when we are camping and using our truck battery. We mainly use it in protecting our truck battery from discharging when running a portable fridge while we are camping. I used this on a home made Milwaukee speaker project using an old Milwaukee toolbox, two Rockford fosgate punch speakers, a boss Bluetooth amplifier, and a Milwaukee batter holder. I installed this to prevent damage to over discharging the battery. It works great and is super easy to program. It’s used in an underground mine and rides around 60 miles a day on a side by side, so I’d say it’s pretty durable.

I bought this item as a low voltage cutoff to protect my lithium batteries that I use to power my kid’s power wheels. Works great and comes with good instructions for set up. It has worked effectively thus far at cutting off power to the battery before it discharges too much. Will be purchasing again in the future if I need another. Only downfall is that it’s a bare circuit board with no good way of mounting it. So it’s just sitting loose under the seat of the power wheels car, but works for now.

Works well except for voltage calibration does not work for 48v . However one can work around this by using a good mutimeter and compensating by the difference in board reading and a good meter. Does the job for disconnecting when voltage on battery gets low and auto reconnecting after sufficient charge has taken place. Great protection against discharging your lithium battery too low.

Paired this wirh my emergency cut over to power an irrigation computer. Works perfectly to protect my batteries from over discharging and only turns on when the voltage is steady and safe range! It does this by assuring voltage is certain level for 30 seconds before it turns on. You can program different features too.

I built this battery box to power my garden fountain when my solar panel is not seeing sun light. I purchased a relay on Amazon that switches seamlessly between solar and battery. I installed a charging port with an LED. I wanted the LED to turn off not just when I unplugged the charger but when the charger entered the float mode. It took some time to properly program the relay with the correct settings and I am pleased to say that the relay works perfectly. As advertised this relay can work both for charging or discharging but you have to chose one or the other it can't do both at the same time. Now as I said the LED comes on when my battery is charging and goes off when my battery is fully charged. This is a well priced for such a perfect relay. I definitely recommend it for any DIY project.

Directions are a little unclear of how to use product but with a simple YouTube search you too can figure it out. Had to return one due to it not working properly, but amazon replaced it no problem

I purchased two of these. One was for a project powered by a drill battery that lacks a BMS. To prevent over discharging the drill battery, I purchased this and set the voltage appropriately. It is compact and unlike many of the other low volt disconnects on Amazon, this can handle lower gauge wires to actually run high amperage applications. My other purchase is to project a deep cycle lead acid battery from over discharge. My trailer did not have that capability so I was being forced to monitor the battery and make sure I switch off before the power gets too low. Highly recommend for campers, ham radio operators, and tinkerers.

Seems to work well when in use (cuts out at set voltage) but I left a 20v lithium battery installed and it drained it to zero and it could not be recharged (even after jumping with another battery). Battery was ruined by a device that was purchased to prevent that exact problem. Was wired and set up per instructions.

Has worked for 6 months so far in hot and cold temperatures . I am not running 40A, only 7A at 24V, so the smallish terminals are not an issue for my use of running a 150W (or so) motor from a small solar system.
