Seems to work
After 20 years of keeping pond fish, had some kind of bacterial outbreak this year and lost quite a few fish. Whilst this doesn't treat or save the actual infected fish (I tried), believe it still arrested the problem within the pond and didn't seem to affect other fish or anything else, including the biological cycle. Have used it a couple of times at dose of 2 or 3 grams (half a tablet) per 1000 litres of water. Going forward will use it as a preventative in the Spring as that's when the highest risk occurs.

Effective Precaution
These tablets can be used in 2 ways: 1) Precautionary measure to reduce the bacterial & viral load on the pond without any discernible effect on the biological media in filters. 2) Disinfection of nets and equipment to prevent cross or re-infection, particularly during and after an outbreak It is relatively simple to use; just put the required dose (which is specified on the pack and online) in a bucket add just boiled water, stir thoroughly, leave to cool (you could add some cold pond water to hasten this cooling) then add evenly over the pond surface. You can repeat this process up to the point mixing and cooling to use as a disinfectant (the dose will be significantly higher and must not be put in the pond at this level), the disinfectant mixture will last at least a couple of days giving ample time to treat all of the required equipment by soaking etc.

Must for cleaning if fish keeper
Keep in your kit for net cleaning & other vital tasks. Plenty for your buck & u can even snap tablets in 2 & get more value for money. Safety ring on top to show u it’s never been opened, quality tub & product. Performs well, fizzed in water so u can see it’s working. I can smell any odour tbh. Little costly but worth it for proper hygienic safety cleaning. Decent brand name in Aquarium industry so you know you’re safe. Highly recommend

Clean healthy pond
I use this product every spring. It helps keep bactaria down i use 2 per 1000 gallon. Been using it a few years now.
