Great plane and a great price!
This plane is awesome! I've flown it now a few times with no issues. I have experienced 15 minute run times per battery. There are usually breezy conditions where I live and the plane still performs well due to its flight stabilization gyro system. Out of the box the plane was trimmed well with a slight upward bias which is helpful for new pilots. It can fly really fast and very slowly under control. The stunt features are cool and make you feel like a boss until you learn how to do it on your own. Highly Recommend this plane to beginner pilots.

Awesome little plane!
Bought this for my husband he loves it! If flies easily and is very stable even in wind. Its does not break easily and is perfect for the money. You get quite a bit of time out of the battery for flight and its size is perfect to transport to fly in different locations. I will definitely be getting another one for myself!

Easy to fly, Durable, and flat out fun!
I have always had an interest in airplanes, but thought that flying an RC plane was diffucult, expencive, and scary. With the Volantex P-51 Mustang it is so simple and easy to get the plane in the sky and control it easily. The plane has a gyrostabilizer that will keep the plane level in flight and will allow you to fly in slightly windy conditions. The controls are easy to understand and very responsive. I had never flown an RC plane before (had years of video game experiance) and I was able to fly without a problem on the first flight. Even though the plane is easy to fly, I have crashed it a few times into buildings and trees and there is very little sign of damage, the only thing you will see is some scuffed paint. The compact styrofoam that it is made from allows crash landings and proprellers to come off, and you are back in the sky in minutes. There is no set up and no building of your own, just put 4 batteries in the controller, charge the batteries for the plane, and off you go right out of the box Some thing to note: on some phone chargers that I have tried, the "charging" light flashes red and takes forever to charge the battery, but in other chargers, the light will stay a solid red and charge the battery in around 45 minutes. Something that confused me at first. All in all, a great plane, easy flyer, and well worth the money to start an amazing hobby

Good experience but does not land well
First things first, let's talk about the paintwork. Hold onto your propellers, folks, because these planes are an absolute feast for the eyes. The attention to detail is so on point that even the Wright brothers would give it a nod of approval. Authenticity? Check. Style? Double check. Your imagination will be doing loop-de-loops as you admire the impeccable design. But wait, there's more! If you're a rookie in the world of toy aviation, fear not โ these planes have got your back. They fly like a dream, perfect for those getting their wings for the first time. Beginners, rejoice! You'll be doing barrel rolls and loops in no time, all while keeping the skies safe from imaginary aerial foes. Now, let's hit a bit of turbulence and talk about the not-so-sunny side of things. Batteries, oh batteries! It's like trying to fit a giraffe into a phone booth. Those battery compartments might need a dose of magic to accommodate those larger-than-life power sources. But hey, who doesn't love a good challenge? A little finagling here and there, and voilร ! Mission accomplished. Now, let's chat about those wheels. Picture this: a graceful landing on the runway, wheels touching down in a triumphant touchdown... or maybe not. Unless you're blessed with a runway smoother than a baby's bottom, those wheels might just stage a rebellion. Landing on uneven terrain? Let's just say it's a bit like trying to salsa dance on roller skates. Grass landings? Well, you might as well prepare for a crash course in "How Not to Land 101." But fear not, young aviators, for all is not lost! These planes are the Chuck Norris of the toy aviation world. They've survived more crash landings than a rubber ball dropped from a skyscraper. While they may suffer a few battle scars, they're surprisingly resilient. Quick tip: if things get a bit rocky, a dab of glue can work wonders in bringing your trusty steed back into flight-ready shape. One thing to keep in mind: the more the flights, the more the thrill. It's like a roller coaster ride in the clouds, but with wings. Unfortunately, like all great adventures, this one has a shelf life. Around 20-30 flights is what you can expect before these wings tire out. And at around $5 per flight, it's like your own personal airshow with a slight admission fee. So, in summation, folks, buckle up for a whirlwind of airborne fun with these little planes. They've got charm, they've got style, and they've got a bit of a bumpy ride. But remember, it's not about the number of landings; it's about the sky-high smiles they bring to your face. So go on, embrace the skies and let your imagination take flight! ๐โ๏ธ

This RC plane is incredible!
This RC plane is fantastic! It was available for less than $100 during prime days and Iโm blown away that you can get a genuine working airplane for that price. It comes with two batteries and if both are fully charged you can fly the plane for about 35-40 minutes. The plane also has a beginner mode and expert mode, where an internal gyro will help stabilize the plane in beginner mode. It also has one button aerobatics like barrel rolls and flips. It also has a quick takeoff mode to help get the plane up in the air. The body is very sturdy styrofoam and the propeller is designed to break away in case of a crash. Keep your eye on where the propeller is if this happens! Fortunately, the plane comes with 4 propellersโฆ two dual blade and two quad blade. I highly recommend this, itโs been so much fun and after a session or two with the plane it starts to feel much more natural flying it. Go to a local school with a football field and have fun!

Do Not Buy
I purchased this for my son for Christmas. This was his big present and he was incredibly excited about it. Having charged all the batteries, we took it out to fly. The plane never left the ground. Once my son raised the throttle the plane began to slide - yeah, I said slide. The wheels did not easily roll and eventually the plane's wheels caught on the concrete and the plane up-ended slamming the prop in the concrete. No big deal, right? Just slap another propeller on there and try again. Nope! The impact, despite being very slight caused the engine to dislodge from how it was glued into the styrofoam just enough to cause the gear going into the engine to not perfectly line up with the gear coming out of the propeller and subsequently, the engine gear proceeded to grind the teeth off the propeller gear. This made the plane completely un-useable ever again. It took all of 10 seconds MAX and the plane was complete trash. Sucks for me because we waited until the weather warmed up to try out the plane and now Amazon won't let me return it. Don't look at that look of disappointment in your child's eyes like I did. Buy them something else.

Mostly fun
It's enjoyable to fly and glides well. The batteries last pretty long approximately 30 minutes each. After the second time flying it, however, the left wing broke off and two of the four propellers broke as well. Overall my son enjoyed it but I highly recommend purchasing the insurance.

Great Learner Plane
My first RC Plane and it seems great to learn with. Durable, since Iโve crashed it several times already. The propeller saver does its job perfectly, but does break if hard enough of a hit. There are spares but I will definitely need more. The stability is incredible for such a small light plane.
