Good Mobile antenna, use it everyday during my commute
Inexpensive unit that provides decent performance. Allows me to keep in contact with my high HF and VHF/UHF fellow Hams during my commute to and from the office. I also use it on my various trips and it allows me to hit the repeaters on my road trips. The fold over feature works very well. It is a great match for my TYT TH-9800.

Works well,
I use this on the TYT 98OO-D quad band repeater, it receives signal fine, haven’t tried transmitting yet, due to not having a ham license. Once I have a license, I will update review.

Low price, poor quality.
Poor quality mount, high swr across all bands, set screws loosen themselves, Mount will also not stay upright. Even when mounting it different ways it will still fold over on itself even 35 mph. Did not trust it on a 65 mph road. Could have saved myself the hastle and paid more for much better quality antenna.

The antenna does it job
So far so good, good swr on 10mts, 2 mts and 70cm. Get a good base. Be careful when you mount it so the bending side is perpendicular to the front. While driving on highway antenna folded and lost the top piece.

needs work but it works
as other say, the mount doesn’t stay in place at all and also the antenna screws or settings are very loose. changed all the screws with quality stainless screws which fixed the antenna. antenna works great after tuning. hitting towers 30+ miles off my Jeep. the mount: again like another said it doesn’t hold. did the same thing and marked where it needed. spot welded. added a good ground point and reassembled. added a short tether for trail usage and it’s working good. in short: you get what you pay for. with a little work, this comes out to be a workable solution.
