I’m on contraception - babies are not on my radar at the moment. I was feeling a bit of out sorts last weekend so took a test just to make sure as it felt like early pregnancy. Words cannot describe my horror when this line came up before the control line. I have done another FOUR tests since & not even a hint of a line. Another one step. A twin pack of clear blue & a first response. Nada. Nothing. Just a very convincing false positive. No bleeding to say it was an early miscarriage either. Useless. Avoid unless you’re wanting to age about 20yrs in the space of 10 minutes 🥴

I have bought these twice now, as I'm trying for second baby. I had positive results with this last November. As they are cheap I use them as a guide, and if they go slightly positive I go out for a Clearblue digital to confirm. (You couldn't afford to get a Clearblue digital for a weekly test!) Sadly I miscarried that pregnancy, and these tests were vital in detecting it. I tested every day for the first 3 weeks of pregnancy, and noticed that the pos line was getting fainter each day. I started to bleed and had a miscarriage. So these strips were able to show me that my bodies HCG levels were reducing, so I was mentally prepared for the loss. When got to the hospital they gave me a similar preg test to these, and told me to test 10 days after miscarriage to make sure the pregnancy had definately gone. Used these tests as well and confirmed the loss. I use these weekly so I can catch pregnancy early. I have no idea when I ovulate so worried I might miss it and miss out on ante-natal care.

I love this type of home testing kit; I've bought a good number of them twice now, and the price is low.

Most bad reviews I've seen are not the fault of the test, like the showing negative at 6 months pregnant is because there's so much HCG the test can't read it so reads negative and the husband trying it and getting a positive - this is a sign of health issues. As well as the people who've rated it low because they don't believe it. I can't speak for them being early detection as I used them the day of my missed period, however I assume it depends on your natural hormone levels and how much there is at 5 days before your period. Regardless, these worked fine the day of.

I used these tests at 3weeks pregnant and there it was - a positive! I’ve had 3 babies already and absolutely no test I have had has told me this early! I ofc did like everyone else does - I used this test every other day until 5 weeks then used a clear blue digital to show my partner. I think these tests are literally the best on the market ❤️ now just hoping for my gender wish 😂

I first used these last year when I thought I was pregnant and I got a negative result, few months later I found found out I was pregnant with my first girl after 4 boys. They started off as faint then got darker. This time round I was having symptoms and suspected I was pregnant quite early on, started of negative then I was getting faint lines then the line got darker. I was testing every morning with first morning urine so for a few days I thought I was pregnant. Then I woke up in then morning took a test and positive then my period finally started. I would never use these tests again, got my hopes up even though I'm 6 months postpartum.
