Why are you selling an open-box for more than msrp?

I suggest you look for this item on Ebay where you can find open box items for reasonable prices from reputable dealers with verifiable reputations.

When will this be available again?

Shipments are happening all the time. Recommend you continue google searching the item and look for “in stock” label. This is what I did and then I followed up with a phone call to ensure availability. Sure enough, they had received 8 units which the rep said would be gone by night fall. I made the immediate purchase via Amazon. By night fall, all were gone.

11.2 setup - does just one preamp will help since it is just 9.2 natively? preamp is to power extra 2 channels

Thanks for your question. An 11.2 configuration requires a separate two channel integrated amplifier or power amplifier, typically connected to Pre/Line Out Zone 3/Height 2. The owner's manual contains detailed instructions and diagrams. Simply Google: TX-RZ50 Owner's Manual. World Wide Stereo - since 1979 - and a proud authorized Onkyo dealer.
