great kettle, worth the price. looks great in the kitchen and the precision adjustability of the temp control is very nice. the kettle feels quality which is important at this price tag and the temp control knob has a very nice feel to it. feels durable but not heavy. fits into routine very nicely.

I’ve been using this or almost a year now, so here’s my review. At this price point, this kettle is disappointing. The look and feel is nice, don’t get me wrong. But where it fails is the software/firmware. This kettle fails where it shouldn’t: temperature. During operation of the kettle you’ll most likely be taking the kettle off and back on to pour. What I’ve found happens is that the base will revert to a random temp and get stuck there. What happens? It’ll attempt to heat up to what you set it at. What I ran into was this: I had the kettle set at just below boiling for coffee (198 at my altitude). I pour some water for my pour over and set it back on the base. What I didn’t notice is that the kettle base read the temp as 168. So the kettle cranks up the heat so it can heat it back up to 198. The issue? The water is already 196-198. So it essentially starts a rumbling boil in a kettle, this shot steam and hot water everywhere. The worst part? The temp never updates so it will sit there boiling until you turn it off. This has now happened multiple times. Personally, this is just a massive safety issue and for 200+ dollars I don’t believe it’s remotely worth it. This thing needs a lot of work before it can be used safely

Great electric kettle. We set it for mornings to use for pour over coffee. Scheduling is easy and software seems to work well. We’ve had it several months now using well water and haven’t had any issues. The only plastic that the water “touches” is the rubber gasket on the lid. Just make sure the vent in the lid is towards the handle not towards the spout or hot water can leak out.

Heats quickly and holds temp on base. Spout is perfect for pour over coffee. Kettle holds enough water for two X/large cups of coffee. The clock is a great feature too. For all the coffee making features this is an excellent unit. All the menu items in the small display work well except the wireless connectivity/firmware update. And it's great looking in the kitchen. It is disconcerting however, when a manufacture adds wireless features that don't work. I have a dual band router and the unit can connect to my network but will not update the firmware.

I had originally purchased a fairly cheap (Intasting) gooseneck kettle. It didn't really like to pour at 5g/S. The stream would get turbulent or stop pouring altogether when dipping <5, especially if the kettle wasn't completely full. The Stagg is consistent and easy to control, plus the stream stays laminar at low flow rates. Beyond being the best looking kettle, it really is a great pourover kettle.

The price point was quite high, but im so glad I decided to make the purchase! This kettle has been a staple every single day since it arrived. No other kettles ive tried come close to how great this one is! Its fast, quite, and easy to operate!

I really wanted to love this kettle, but for the price, this is unacceptable. After only a month and a half of light use, the Stagg EKG Pro Studio completely stopped working — no power, no display, nothing. I’ve confirmed the outlet works, unplugged/replugged, and followed all troubleshooting steps, but it’s totally unresponsive. For a product that costs nearly $400, I expected reliability. Instead, I’m stuck dealing with warranty claims just weeks after purchase. Very disappointed.

The base never updates, it always says there's an update I've followed all the instructions and still refuses to update.

This item is high priced garbage… not even 1 month old and clock can not keep time … really ? I have kettles at lesser value that are 10 times better … avoid at all costs
