Outstanding fastening and sensitive on skin
Superb product will not remove the top layer of your skin when pulling off after exercise. I taped my catheter bag and tubing to my leg with this product whilst | jogged 5km without any issue. Held firm yet after my exercise the tape peeled off easily without pulling the hairs out of my legs. Absolutely will buy again.

Keeps things secure to the skin, and removal is pain free.
This tape sticks to the skin well, but not so well that it is painful to remove or removes skin with it. I find some surgical tapes are way too sticky. I use this on a skin wound three times a day and it doesn't cause irritation or pain when removing unlike some other surgical tapes on the market. I've been buying these for at least 3 months now and keep going back. Update 8th July 2025. The tape has changed, and the materials it is made of have changed in my most recent order. So far it still seems to work and sticks well with little problems removing and damaging my skin. However the side that isn't sticky has gained a waxed paper feel to it. It is a little less flexable when applying and I can describe the feel akin to baking parchment or similar to old school tracing paper sort of feel to it. So far I've been using it and don't have any issues. And the reason behind the change is unclear. But this change may effect some people with specific wound issues. It's still a good product though. It's just a little stiffer when using it.

Could this replace 3M?
I was looking for 3M Micropore tape and came across this microporous tape. It caught my eye so I thought I'd try it out as it is good value for six rolls, especially with 10 gauze swabs added! Unfortunately (or fortunately), I can't say how the dressings are as I haven't used one yet, but I'll let you know when I have. The swabs provided are sterile and 5cm in size. That's a good size for a small cut or a £2 coin-sized graze or similarly sized wound. I am quite impressed by the tape - it holds! It has the right amount of sticky to keep stuck all day or until your next dressing is changed. It's comfortable on the skin, non-irritating, easy to tear and very easy to put in place, depending on the place! There is one obvious difference between Micropore and this microporous tape and that's the feel of the top side of the tape. Nanacare state the tape is breathable and I can't say differently from experience, but it feels and even looks shiny and that makes me doubt how breathable it actually is. I haven't had any problems though and I have fussy, sensitive skin. Having 6 rolls and dressings in a smart box is very functional and practical, especially for filling 1st aid kits without compromising on quality, but as to whether it's better than 3M? I don't know, I'd say it's neither better or worse but it is different... but that's because I've been using 3M tape a very long time and change is hard! They both do the same job well. Update! July 2026 I finally used a gauze! They are good quality and no different to any high quality gauze out there. You can put them in your kits with confidence they'll do the job.

Value. For money.
Microporous Medical Tape and Hypoallergenic gauze pads. The gauze pads were very effective for cleaning the areas and. for adding the gel for gentle healing and protection and with the sticky tape made a perfect job . Thank you.

Pads and tape let the wound breathe
I have several first aid kits in different locations so needed more than one reel. These are perfect for my needs. Sticky and easy to cut to length. The gauze pads will be useful to stop bleeding from small wounds and protect the wound from abrasion. Can be used for labelling

Good stuff
This was particularly useful as it is 2 inches wide. It sticks nicely but is not bad at all for removing. I have used it for securing a temporary bandage. Also needing to keep a dressing dry while showering have wrapped clingfilm around and then secured it with this type and all was very successful.

Adheres well but not sure hypoallergenic
Tape did not suit my skin and brought me out in a rash (not sure it is hypoallergenic). On the plus side it does adhere very well and didn't come off until I decided to remove it. Wasn't very impressed with the gauze which was very loosely woven and was very rough/scratchy.

Best tape ever
The sticking power of this tape is amazing. I fell thru a glass window that resulted in a five inch gash in my leg. I used this tape to hold the wound together whilst I made my way to hospital. The towel I used to stem the flow of blood was drenched but the tape held firm. Even the surgeon who operated on me to remove the glass that was in the wound and stitch me up commented that he had trouble removing it. Is recommend this tape as it's great when you go through life changing events.

En España no se puede comprar.
El producto en España salvo que seas trabajador sanitario o importador no se puede comprar porque lo paran en la aduana. No entiendo como se venda en Amazon como si fuera un producto q no necesita ninguna autorización.

Not adequate for mouthtaping
Dear Reader, Attempted to use this as mouthtape for sleeping as a cheaper alternative than the 3M brand. Although on the surface seems similar, it is clearly of lower quality. I ended up tossing the pack. Perhaps for other uses it may still be useful but don't by this as a mouth taping tool.
