Here’s my story. This is a stables at my daughter’s house so I purchased her a new one. She texted me a picture of that lemon squeezer and it was broken. So I went shopping and found out they now are making them in plastic materials. So I went looking in Amazon and found this stainless steel lemon squeezer and sent it to her. This one is really nice and quality and price are too! Make sure you check these out before the cheap plastic!!

Picked this up on Prime Day and have used it about a dozen times! What a great tool to have in the kitchen! I would hate using fresh limes or lemons because of the work involved with getting them squeezed using the old fashioned reamer style juicer. We'd use the bottled stuff, which isn't all that horrible but once you've used fresh it's hard to justify using the bottled ever again. But the work and time involved to get a tablespoon of juice out just wasn't worth it. Enter this type of tool - wow. So easy! The item seems well constructed and has survived through the dishwasher unmarked or stained. The leverage needed to squeeze a pretty hard lime isn't anywhere near what you think it would be and the amount of juice extracted is pretty much all that is available in the fruit! I tried to get more out of them using the reamer and couldn't manage a single drop. A hard squeeze with the hands the old fashioned way also didn't yield any additional juice. Pro Tip on selecting limes - limes with smooth skin vs the bumpy skin will yield the most juice. Washing it is easy enough by hand but as I mentioned it has made it through the dishwasher without incident. I am certain that anything you put in there has its lifespan shortened due to the harsh nature of the soaps and heat of the machine but so far so good. There's no maintenance needed other than washing so keep it clean and it will serve you for years. The heft is pretty good considering its size and it doesn't feel flimsy when apply pressure to squeeze the limes/lemons. It's big enough to handle the largest of the lemons I have seen and will even handle smaller oranges and tangerines. Overall very happy with this purchase. Get one, you won't be disappointed!

It is a quick way to juice lemons and limes, BUT a lemon never fits in there! It is the size of a lime half. Also, sometimes liquid splashes out the sides if you use lemons due to this issue.
