Decent size, works very well, the display is clear and vibration is strong. Its quite light weight. I found loads of stuff with it what has been dug up. Reason for 4 stars, not 5 is, the light comes on every time you switch the pin pointer on, and the on/off button keeps getting hit all the time, even in its holster, it can be a pain. Apart from that it is great bit of kit.

I'm just getting started out in metal detecting and I wanted a decent pinpointer but I didn't want to invest £100+ at the moment for a leading brand one. But equally I didn't want a cheap £15 one as it will just be unreliable, so this one seemed a logical choice. The device is a good weight and feels decent build quality. It has two settings- a general setting and an interference blocking setting. The interference blocking setting just seems to make it more 'pinpointy' i.e. when you're right next to the find. It has a screen with a signal scale so you can see how close you are to the find. Not really sure of the benefit to be honest as the general setting is accurate enough. My only critique would be that the device keeps registering 'one bar' of signal when it comes into direct contact with something I.e. if the top of the probe touches the dirt it will register one bar of signal even if there's no metal there. I checked and tested this as I was digging for a find and this was confusing me. Until I finally realised every time it touches the dirt directly it would always register one bar- even if theres nothing there. Its just annoying more than anything, but maybe it could just be a slight fault on my particular device. Also, the power button is used to manage the settings i.e. the light, vibrate, sound etc and it gets a bit confusing at times trying to go through them to find the one you need, or if you accidently press the power button. Again just a bit annoying, should just be a dedicated button for each thing. And perhaps a lock button. Overall I think its decent for the price but only for a beginner. I'll probably upgrade to a MineLab or Nokta once I become more experienced.

This is my first pinpointer, and I have to say that I am beyond impressed with it. It is built extremely well; it is super sturdy, it can be used in virtually any environment, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Before buying this pinpointer, I was really struggling to find the targets I was detecting. It would take me forever to find a single target, and I would sometimes have to give up and abandon some targets due to my inability to pin point (no pun intended) the exact location of the target. I hunt in both wet and dry environments, and occasionally underwater (in creeks), and this wonderful tool has made a huge difference!!! I'm able to find targets in seconds, thus I am able to spend more time detecting instead of trying to find a single target for minutes on end. I am quite pleased with how well it works! It auto ground-balances itself and it goes even beyond that as you can further ground balance it when you're in close proximity to your target for greater accuracy! I really love this feature. The only real downside to it, in my opinion, is that it does not have a sound indicator. I personally do not have a problem with the vibration-only technology, but If you are hunting in noisy environments or you suffer from neuropathy in your hands or have any condition that impairs your ability to feel the vibration, it may make things a little challenging. The pinpointer does, however, counteract the lack of sound with the colored light display that tells you how close you are to your target. Some folks complain that the actual range of detection is less than advertised, but I would argue that this is because they don't realize that if you are in an area where lots of interference is likely, the range of detection does decrease. BUT this is likely due to how good this thing is at ground balancing itself. With less interference, your range will be exactly as advertised. I promised. Worth every penny!!!

Have been looking around for a reasonably priced pin pointer as I only metal detect as an occasional hobby. After reading reviews I purchased it to compliment my Minelab Go Find 44, it was delivered from the UK to Australia in a quick efficient service considering I ordered it on Xmas Eve. Tried it out today in the forest area behind our backyard, picked up a response on the Minelab 44 then used it to pin point the exact location in a small excavated hole of what was a house key at a depth of around 100mm, it worked exactly as it should. It is not designed to detect items at extreme depths only within around 50 to 75mm. The raised power button has not been a problem, I want it easy to turn on especially when wearing gloves, happy with my purchase.

Werkt uitstekend en de prijs is prima. Als je kijkt wat men voor de top pinpointers durft te vragen. Is dit een zeer goede pinpointer Detekteerd diep en waterdicht Meer heb je niet nodig. Voor mij absoluut geen prijzige pinpointers meer. Deze is gewoon alles wat je nodig hebt.
