No it does not come preloaded with line. You will have to buy your own line.

What size reel would be good for 7' Medium light rod?

I have 2 of the 4000 models on my 7 foot rods. They work like a charm. The 3000 would probably work just fine but I got the 4000s for the added capacity for long distance fishing from shore.

Can this reel switch from left to right hand

Mine does not. I have the 2000 series I can’t figure out why. I’ve owned plenty of spinning reels before and both Amazon and the instruction say you can. But when attempting to swap from left to right, there is no threading on the right side. The screw in handle is useless

What size reel is good for a 6'6 medium light medium fast rod?

I would go with the 3000. You can put 10lb mono or up to 40 braid. I wouldn't go that high though. If you go braid 20lb should be more than enough for that rod
