Multi purpose grill
It's great for what I use it for. It's used to cook flour tortillas. Lay some charcoal briquettes on some sand in an old grill, place in on the charcoal and you're there. Could cook burgers on it too, toast some burger buns. Use your imagination. Handles are a plus.

Great product--just choose one side or the other
This is my absolute favorite cooking pan, over a high-output propane flame. It is great. Just understand (and this is why there are four stars) that the basic concept is flawed--you simply cannot use both sides. One side has to be the one you commit to (I choose the flat side--I want those "grill marks" on the whole thing!) because the seasoning will burn off the side which is flame-down. Again, I love this griddle--just understand that you will only be using one side of it.

It Rocks and Does the Twist
And I don't mean that in a good way. It's so far from level it's not funny, and it's not even consistently off level; it's warped. As this is "cast" iron, I would assume that they are all like this. This appears to be a company that doesn't much care how shoddy its products are. Normally, I'd send it back but it's just not worth the trouble considering how heavy it is and how difficult it would be to pack and so forth. This is fourth-rate merchandise. So if you don't need something remotely flat and level, you might get it, it's less than most comparable items, but otherwise, look elsewhere and pay a bit more for something decent. And what others say about its reversibility is true, you really can't use both sides, unless you want to re-season it each time you want to use the other side. I figured that, but I only needed to use one side. Frankly, I'm surprise Amazon continues to stock it.

warped while seasoning
This seems to be one of those products where the idea is much better than the reality of it. While seasoning the product per the instructions, this griddle warped pretty badly. It doesn't seem like anyone else has had this issue, so maybe I received a defective one, but nonetheless after I researched reversable griddles a bit there seems to a be a general consensus that they don't perform as well. While you have one side established and seasoned, as soon as you flip it and apply direct heat, it will diminish the other sides seasoning and can also cause the grease/seasoning to drip right onto your heat source. It can blacken glass stove tops etc. The handles also are completely flush to the sides and this thing is impossible to pick up once you lay it on a flat surface. It's also very heavy. I returned and got 1 flat and 1 grill griddle made by Lodge, so far they have performed much better, are lighter in weight, are already seasoned and I am not risking damaging them or my stove top.

Seems bent
I purchased this product as a gift for my daughter as she was embarking out of college on her first job. I thought that everyone should have a cast iron skillet. As soon as I opened the package, I noticed something odd. It seems to be bent....it peaks in the middle, with the sides sloping down. I don't know if this is the way it's supposed to be (drain off grease?) but it seemed strange. The box it came in was pretty beat up and I didn't really have time to be bothered with sending it back so I kept it. PLUSES: It's HEAVEY cast iron. Heats evenly. MINUSES: It's BENT! Overall, it's a decent enough purchase. I would call the company, though, and ask if it's supposed to be like that.

It's a good griddle
Just not what we were looking for. More for the grill and not stove top. too heavy of course it cast iron but also hard to lift because the handles are flat no way to get your finger under them when its laying down.
