Just like the manufacturer's original. The functionality, the quality, the ease of setup, battery life, and volume control worked just as the original remote from the factory. The one I purchased did not have voice control.

This item is exactly like the original I had as far as size and button app placement. I had lost the original remote and was just using an app, from the Google store. But THEN I had to replace my modem and I had a new wifi network. In attempt to fix it. I pressed the reset button in the back of my Roku media player BIG MISTAKE I had no choice but to order a remote.Because NOW it was reset to factory settings and didn't recognize my old wifi network I initially programmed to it, when I first purchased it. This seller had got alot of mixed reviews. But I took a chance and figured for the price it wouldn't be a total loss if it didn't work. But it works perfectly. I don't have to press hard on the buttons and the great news is I was able to set up my Roku media player on the new network no problem. It didn't come with batteries. **Takes AAA. I would definitely purchase again from this seller if I need another remote. Thanks for a great product.

This remote looks fine but it’s not. One must point the remote directly at the roku device and be careful not to have shaky hands because that will cause button pushing not to register. Because of this purchase, I’m no longer allowed to buy any electronic devices for my home without my husband’s approval. I would recommend this remote to someone I didn’t like very much or to someone who would like their kids to do less screentime. My children have totally given up trying to get it to work and as a result, I get to use the big tv pore frequently. I guess that’s a plus?

One of the Roku remote controls at our family cabin "disappeared". This replacement works exactly as the lost remote. No programming, etc. Add batteries and use it. This model does not have volume controls, which is fine for our use. The original didn't have volume controls, either. I was surprised and pleased by the cost of this replacement.

Vendor is a good one. got the item quickly. The remote control itself works well enough but it seem to have a weak or limited signal. If it's not pointed directly at the Roku device nothing happens. With the original, I could be anywhere in the room and didn't even have to point it at the Roku device and would still get a response. There is a free download for an app that makes your cell phone a Roku remote control. It's available at the "Play Store". It is actually better than the remote-control device that I'm reviewing. It's always good to have a plan B.

I have a Roku streaming device hooked up in the kids playroom. I did my best to find the model and put it in the title. Because the remote is for the kids playroom, they break them from time to time. Last time was over a dispute involving star wars toys. So my old remote became an airborne objection that thankfully missed my oldest boys head. It did however make full contact with the wall which is why I needed a replacement. This one is cheap, and works just fine when you point it anywhere near sensor. There is no volume control, but the original and subsequent remotes didn't have that either.

I’m constantly buying new remotes for my home bc my kids are always breaking or misplacing them! These are cheap & work just as good as the ones that come with the tv when you purchase them from the store!

Not a good replacement for original. The up/down & left right toggle action is very touchy, just like the new ones that come with the more recent model ROKU devices. When scrolling, DOWN is easier & more exact than trying to scroll UP and you have to make a precise effort for Left or Right or you will prompt a different function than you want . PS: I have no want of the voice activated remotes, just wish the hand helds hadn't been cheapened!!
