My 9-year-old son LOVES this gift. His siblings love the light saber, too. The sounds, colors, and durability are great, but be aware if you are sensitive to flickering lights, which is one of the light effects.

This was a great toy that our boys just love. The connector was a little confusing at first but we figured it out pretty quickly. We love the sounds and it lights up plenty bright. Good value for price point.

This was exactly what my son was looking for and much less than we saw anywhere else. Unfortunately, since it twisted together (which adds to the sturdiness) another kid broke it because they were trying to bend it apart and didn’t understand twisting. It was broken the same day he got it. He was so bummed. But we will see if we can glue it? Fun gift. Great size, not too light or too heavy.

This is a great lightsaber to complete a Darth Maul Halloween costume, or at least that’s what we used it for. I wasn’t expecting it to light up and have noise, so that was a nice bonus. Not only that but it will “react” when you hit it against something. It does feel fairly flimsy though so I would not recommend this for daily use like, say, for kids who like to lightsaber fight. I would imagine this would break pretty easily. But it’s exactly what we needed for a costume. I will say it took a moment to figure out how to attach it together, I didn’t realize you needed a screwdriver.

Very cool toy, but broke a day after receiving. My boys were playing rough with it and it cracked but could have been built a bit more sturdy
