I honestly can't tell you enough about how much I love this vocabulary flash card set. I got in on a whim to use with my daughter through the summer holidays, and she is absolutely loving it. So far we have managed to do 10-20 cards almost every day - I hold a card up and say the word, and my daughter explains what it means (or if she doesn't know, she guesses) then I tell her the official explanation on the back. She LOVES the challenge, and I love it because it is a change from having YouTube on the telly and it gives us such an easy way to do something together that is also educational as well as fun. If you are a parent of a 10 year old, you need to get a set of these cards. Recommended, 11/10 :)

Got this for my daughter who just preparing to move into Year 5, so these are targeted in and around her age. There are a variety of words, and on the whole they are some great words for kids to learn. The cards are colour coded depending if its an adjective, verb, noun. Every card provides definition, synonyms and antonyms so it's a complete learning per card. We do one a day, so that's the next 200 days sorted! Overall for the price I think these are great. I appreciate you could just give your child a word from a dictionary or Google for free, but having somethinf physical adds that extra motivation to actually do them and learn.
