Neutrik NP2X 6.3mm Momo Jack Plug
This new design of clamp is too small. Waste of money. Originals were great.
User
Only for small diameter cable
Very small cable gland on this, could not make a strong robust connection that will last longer than a few uses
User
Good quality and good access for soldering. Should last for years.
Good quality and good access for soldering. Should last for years. I've used these a lot in my studio and they are reliable.
User
Well worth the extra cost.
These are so easy to install compared to cheaper connectors. Better, sturdier and far more robust. Highly recommended.

Badly designed if you only have two hands.
I'm sure an octopus would be fine with fitting these. I bought them after reading the reviews here. I don't solder a lot but I've soldered a few things in 50 years. These are not the easiest. First of all it really helps if you can locate wires in pre-drilled holes in the plates you are soldering to, as it helps to locate wires while holding the iron in one hand and solder in the other, these aren't present. The interior plastic shroud is also too big to take any standard guitar cable. It's not rocket science this stuff. It's just a jack that needs a wire connecting to it, somehow the folks at Neutriks have failed to make this a simple process.

Not very easy to use
Couldnt solder a cable, there is hole where you could just run the cable through and then solder it on. For other types of cables we have so many solutions, but for Jack connectors we are still in 1950`s
User
Good product
Good value for money product works well and looks good.

Simply the Best...
Bought these to replace the right-angled ones which were supplied on the Guitar Leads I'd bought previously, I couldn't get straight connectors on each end with the cable type I wanted so the logical thing to do was to just buy some Neutrik NP2 Jack Plugs and cut the unwanted right angled plug off. They are so Simple to Wire and in my opinion along with many other professionals within the Audio and Broadcasting Industry , Neutrik make the best quality connectors on the market.
