Super sand
This thing's awesome! It'll chew through batteries like crazy, but sanding wood with it is like cutting through butter. I've really put this thing through its paces. It's definitely one of my top DeWalt tools. And belt changes and adjustments are so easy.

Does the job as expected
Bought this to use on some doors on a house that settled pretty bad. This was definitely worth the purchase. Worked great and cut the work in half.

tons of power
I have multilple 20/60 volt batteries so, when my 40+ year old corded Craftsman belt sander died, this seemed like a logical way to go. I'm glad I got it. It has lots of power, is super easy to load belts and adjust tracking and it is a pleasure to be uncorded. Any uncorded tool will get a lot more use due to the convenience. Others have truthfully noted that it uses up battery charges quickly, running for around 30-40 continuous minutes. So, it depends upon your intended use to judge if convenience versus run duration are the most important to you. I would buy this tool again.,

Handy cordless belt sander for quick projects
I've been using this DEWALT belt sander mainly in the garage for smoothing rough wood before painting. it’s lightweight and fairly easy to handle, which is a bonus when working on larger pieces. the brushless motor seems to give good power without draining the battery too fast. on the flip side, the tool doesn't come with a battery or charger, so you'd need to have those on hand already. overall, it’s been a helpful addition for my DIY projects, especially when I don’t want to mess around with corded models.

Undecided
It works well, but only about 5 inches of the sanding strap actually touches your material so you’re not gonna get very close to the edges using the front or back. Also, you will go through an awful lot of batteries using this obviously if I had to redo it. I’m not sure if I would buy this or go to a corded one, but I really think corded might be the way to go.

A bit heavy.
It is a bit heavier than I expected but is east to use,. Nice no to be fighting a cord.

Handy tool for woodworking
This tool works smoothly when sanding wood, making the job much easier. It uses batteries quickly, but I appreciate how simple it is to change belts and make adjustments. I've tested it out quite a bit and find it to be a reliable addition to my collection of DeWalt tools.
