Highly recommended as this allows me to more easily control my macro nutrient intake without worrying about the excess carbs but knowing exactly how much good quality protein I'm getting. I only use one scoop and a half a day in combination with my usual meals and this is perfect. I tend to mix is with almond milk and it makes a reasonable tasting shake. When mixed with water, it is very runny when mixing with the recommended amount of water (300ml I think of the top of my head) but it does mix incredible well after a few shakes and rarely do I get any lumps! The taste is unfortunately typical, I think, of strawberry protein shake flavour but its ok - unfortunately few have come close to the raspberry yoghurt taste of the oatgain shake I was taking previously but I do prefer this 100% Gold Standard especially for the cutting phase and it has become more important to me since starting my personal training qualifications. THe bag is huge (although I have found it doesn't seal great because of the square shape but it will last forever using only one scopp as per serving guidelines and its amazing how much protein one scoop can pack!

It’s the Gold Standard for a reason. Awesome protein powder, mixed well and great flavours. And no digestion issues for me . The perfect supplement for those unable to get a sufficient amount of protein on board throughout your day. I found it perfect for a protein ketone diet. Such a pity the price has gone up exponentially since Covid 😞

Just be careful when purchasing the product because the seal for the protein is not the best and could waste protein powder. It does not seal and is a cheap bag for the money you pay. But the protein is good quality and very easy to mix with water. Tastes great with water added. My products from this seller have always been genuine and legit and have had no problems

This protein is good, although it can make you feel a little nauseous after taking it, so personally I like to drink it just after my cardio session and just before my gym session and found that works better, stop's the sickness feeling from coming, also I'm not a massive eater but it really does fill me after drinking it, and feel like I need little food, my husband agrees too and he has big appetite. Definitely takes cravings off for snack food. Not the best tasting one, but okay.

I regularly buy optimum nutrition protein powder and usually opt for the chocolate peanut butter flavour but on this occasion it was not in stock. I opted for the strawberry flavour for once, how bad could it be really? Wow was I a fool. The strawberry tastes nasty imo. It’s honestly so artificially sweet and tastes nothing like strawberries no matter if you have it with milk or water. Never buying this flavour again, I understand flavour is definitely highly opinionated but damn avoid this one and go for something with less artificial sweeteners added or make an informed decision and buy a taster sachet prior to buying 5kg like i should have done. All in all, don’t recommend - get something you know you will like and don’t risk getting this flavour unless you’ve tried it.
