Is this any good at picking up pet hair? Thanks

Hi, I dont have any pets now but it definitely picks up my daughters long hair off there bedroom carpets!! I use it mainly so I dont have to keep getting the hoover out and my mum always had one - to be fair for the price it does well, even on the wood floor

Is it good to use on high pile rugs

Hi. The deepest pike rug I have is about an inch deep. This little sweeper is really good for a quick tidy up even on my deeper rugs but I would suggest an item slightly more expensive would manage high pile rugs with greater efficiency. In saying that I’m extremely happy with it.

Just received and seems to work well but I can't work out how to empty it. Can anybody help please?

Just turn the sweeper upside down and you will see 4 small indentions (2 on each side) simply press one of the indentations on each side and the dust compartment opens and allows you to empty the dust/dirt into a bin or a bag be careful to hold the sweeper over a bin or whatever you want to catch the contents. How long is the handle please as I am tall and need a long handle?
