This pool motor cover snaps right into place easily! Save yourself hundreds in a motor replacement with this fix for sun / weather damage. It is a must if you own a pool!

If you have a PowerLine pump (used by Doughboy) this is NOT the cover for you; it does not fit!! (See pics) Can't fault seller for that, I should've done my due diligence. As far as the product, as others mentioned, it's not the most sturdy thing ever. It's a bit flimsy but, in fairness, it didn't fit my pump as it's supposed to so hard to completely judge the product. If you have a smaller pump with a circular motor end I'd say this is worth the money. For other Doughboy pool owners with PowerLine pumps.... I couldn't find an alternate on Amazon to suggest but here's a Pro Tip to get your pump covered..... get a plastic tub and some serrated grip scissors. Starting on the open side, cut a "U" shape on both ends and some slots on the sides for ventilation. You can also cut out a spot for the top hose; it makes it a bit more aesthetically pleasing. This is how I got my pump covered. Hope this helps someone else!!🤘

Flimsy and broke during set up

We rarely leave negative reviews and only when there is a significant product shortcoming that we feel should be known. But this item truly is a piece of s. 1) Most irritating is that we were sent a USED item. It had grass, dirt, and fingerprints covering the entire thing. When you pay for an item described as NEW, you expect to receive NEW. And you should receive NEW. 2) As per other reviews (I know, right?), one of the plastic clips that is supposed to hold the "clamp" broke during assembly in the first 2 minutes. The overall product is flimsy and not good. 3) We have a very common and standard size pool pump, but the "clamps" as described do not fit over any part of the pump or plumbing. We currently have the cover just draped over the motor to see if it provides any benefit whatsoever. 4) We were skeptical of even trying this cover, but the new pump does suggest trying to protect from direct sun, dust, etc. so we thought this might work. We were wrong. 5) We'll see if the cover is able to stay on in its current unclamped state. If not, we will either return it or throw it in the trash to save some time. Good luck.

Fit perfectly, will certainly keep motor out of the eliments

Slid together easily. Covered the pump as designed. Worth the money. Yes, it’s plastic but what do you expect for $20.

I had to modify it to what I wanted.

This certainly does the job. Looks just like the picture. It technically is easy to put together. Having said that the braces that hold onto the motor don't slide on to the main piece easily. I was afraid to break it. So if you get this be careful.
