I got this as a birthday present, and I love it. It powers through the hair on my head comfortably and doesn't leave behind irritation. Also does a great job shaving my face. The magnetic closure makes it easy to open and clean. Convenient USB charging, with long battery life (days and days). Best electric shaver I've ever had, regardless of price.

2ND UPDATE: Two months after Groomie replaced the shaver, the replacement has broken. Absolute garbage. UPDATE: Groomie finally responded, only after my posting the original review and my response to a survey from Amazon specifically asking if the seller had resolved my issue. Groomie was magically able to see the video that they repeatedly claimed was not received. The shaver has been replaced under their 12 month warranty so we’ll see how long this one lasts. STAY AWAY FROM GROOMIE!! This Groomie shaver worked for 5 months and as others have said, it started making a loud noise and the motor stops working altogether when placed against the skin. Since it is obviously out of the 30 day return window for Amazon, we reached out to Groomie for support. We initially were told it was within the 12 month warranty so no problem. They asked for proof of purchase and video showing the problem. After multiple attempts to submit the video (somehow the attachments were dropping from the emails, only 9 seconds long so not a large file) they wanted it sent to a cloud storage for access. In the last communication they said this claim would have to be processed through Amazon because they shipped it, in spite of the invoice (which we provided them a copy of as our proof of purchase) clearly stating it was shipped by Groomie and supplied by Groomie. Amazon needs to get them and their products off of the platform.

It gives a nice close shave on his face and head, it's easy to use and easy to clean. Ercell

The groomie shaver is a true value. I have gone through many head shavers over the years, and this one stands out. The waterproof capability makes it perfect for use in the shower. I do try to keep any water from getting into the charging port. The shave is close and a little rough at times, getting around the shape of my skull. But otherwise a great functioning tool.

I finally found the holy grail of shaving. I've been shaving my head for many years. I tried wet shaving, foil shavers, and triple cartridges and pretty much all the other razors on the market. Wet shaving was good, but my head was irritated and the occasional cut happened when I was going to an affair and I had this big gash in my head. I always had the fear before I put the blade to my head every time I shaved. The Groomie solved all these problems. Zero irritation and as close as wet shaving. If this lasts and that remains to be seen, this will truly be the holy grail I have been looking for, I love how easy it is to take the head off to clean, it is simply a magnet all in one piece. It is very easy to clean and battery life is very good. Value for the money and East of use is fantastic. It took years, but I think I found what I was looking for and my head never looked better.

It works but not that great. I would try flex first. Freeboard maybe. Not really happy. all these add say how wonderful the product is but it baloney really. stop it Amazon. iDO NOT RECOMMEND.

Works very well, easy to hold in your hand. Provides a nice clean shave without irritation. Battery has been good so far

Broke in the first try

I've tried cheap ones, expensive ones, ones with 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 heads but nothing is as effective as this. The more powerful motor definitely helps. Only downside is you may have to clean the heads mid shave. Takes me 5 minutes to do my full scalp. My old Remington used to take me 12! Definitely buy this product if you like a good close shave that's quick to do and nearly as close as a wet shave.

I brought this product in May 23 this year, it worked well, good close shaves but it died today 14th September 23, just stopped charging.

Very nice and powerful shaver for the head etc

I previously had the cheapest Pitbull model, which did the job, but just stopped working after about a year. Plus that brand is crazy overpriced. This model is a joy to use as you can rinse it in water. You're supposed to replace the blades every six months, which if it turns out to be the case I'm just buying a different brand, even if I have to pay more.

Since using this I’ve spent less time shaving my head. But it does seem to use a lot of battery life as it shows in minutes what it has left. But several times has dropped battery life very quickly. After charging it fully to 90 after only using it for about 3 minutes it’s dropped to 72 so I guess it could be a fault. But only time will tell. But does shave well
