Surprisingly alright
I bought these to replace my Knippex set which had been stolen whilst working on site. I couldn't bring myself to spending the amount of money on another Knippex or CK set just for someone else to enjoy the benefits of quality tools. Anyhow to my surprise these are actually very good. The side cutters are very sharp and seem to be retaining their edge so far, there is no free play in any of the tools. My only minor niggle is they have started to rust already after only a couple of months. My Knippex or CK's never rusted in the years I had them until being stolen. Worth a try if your looking for a cheaper replacement.

Delighted
I've had various VDE cutter/ pliers sets and delighted with these. I've never owned knippex branded ones but I have used them and these aren't far off. They're certainly durable enough for everyday use and are comfortable to use. I know there's a lot of brand snobbery out there, but I don't get drawn into it. These are certainly much closer to the top brands than the price difference suggests!
