FRAM filters are great and save me money over other brands!
I love these filters after having used FRAM filters for decades on several types of vehicles and also using the high performance and regular oil filters without any issues. They work very well and are very cost effective. It is easy to replace and comes with a new O-ring. Just put a dap of fresh oil on the new O-ring to prevent it from getting out of place when tightening the filter.

Good filters that work as intended!
The better Fram filters (step above the basic 5,000 mile filter) are good filters and work as intended. I’ve used them for 40 years and never had an issue. There are some people that get stuck on a brand, and that’s fine. But don’t be afraid of this filter because of the name. The most important part of the oil change is the frequency and oil used. Change every 4-5,000 miles, only use full synthetic, and replace the oil filter every oil change as well and your engine will last hundreds of thousands of miles. Change it every 10 - q 15,000 like new cars are recommending and be prepared to replace the engine between 100 and 150,000 miles. Do some research on the subject and speak to real mechanics that are not working at your local dealership where you purchased the car. Consider yourself warned.

Used this filter for the oil change on my 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan Highline R-Line. Works great. I've always trusted FRAM for all my filter needs. It's unfortunate that this one is more expensive than other models even though it's just the media and no metal shell. Happy with the quality nonetheless.
