Works great Good workmanship. Sturdy product made from good plastic. Lights are a bonus as there are three different shades which really help when reading in different situations. My wife and I share it and thinking of getting another one. The lense is easy to keep clean and the included pouch prevents scratches when we aren't using it.

This magnifier it great size for reading. I keep it by my desk to help with things that I need to enlarge. There are 3 different light color settings. This helps for the different activities for example reading a book vs reading the fine print on a label. Very light weight and has a nice cover for storage or traveling. There is a stand that helps with ergonomics if reading long term.

It is of the lowest standards of being usable. I tried to use it as much as I could to test it out, but I always got frustrated. I believe it's all plastic. It never broke. Design is good. Compactness is great. I always left it out so as not to fold it up after use. Reading ability is possible, but I would not recommend as I get dizziness from looking into it. (Maybe short reading like coupons or job hunting. ) But no long stories as my eye would get loopy and get tired of the stress and fatigue to the eyes. Visibility is very poor like a toy out of a cereal box. Yes, a free toy. I try not to look through this as much as possible, cause of the stress and fatigue placed on the eyes, do not drive for two hours after using for any length of time. Excellent gag gift as a joke. Solid stand. Comfortable to control and move around but I recommend not looking into the screen if you do not have to. Too much eye pain involved. Could this damage your eyes? I would bet my roommate he could not put a 300 peice puzzle together using this product just most of the time, he failed. I won 5 bucks and a friend also. It was worth the money. Great gag gift for everyone lots of chuckles and laughs too. Remember the 8 ball? Was it CRAZY 8. Ask a yes, no question, and read the cube floating in the water. "Ask me again later." There was nothing wrong, per se, with this product and I could see it being useful if you’re reading a novel. However, I was hoping it would be much more helpful with seeing small print on a screen. There is no way to set it up in front of my laptop screen. The stand can sit on top of my keyboard, but it blocks several of the peripheral keys. I was hoping it would be a hands-free option. This makes a lot more sense if you’re willing to hold either your book or the magnifier or both. The whole thing is very lightweight, so it wouldn’t be hard to hold for long periods of time.

I love this light. It is so easy to use. My mother tried it and loves it so I’m ordering her a pink one.

The MagniPros 5X Large works very well. Somebody had a good day when they designed it. Order the one with the stand. It requires batteries but, really, the LED lights don't use much juice and the adjustable stand works well when reading at night or working crafts, jigsaw puzzles and the like. It seems a bit flimsy at first, but that has never been an issue - a good compromise -well thought out for lightness and size. The adjustment has ridges that both grip and secure the light to the stand. An outstanding detail. It's easy to remove the stand and small enough to take with you. The only issue is not a fault of the device. My wife sings in a choir and the ceiling spot lights reflect on the screen. The light always goes with us as we travel. After trying several others you won't be sorry with this one.

I ordered this magnifier to help me read fine print after cataract surgery. I heartily recommend it. It is lightweight and just the right size to hold over the page of a book as you read in bed. It lights up via 3 AAA batteries that you supply. You push a little button on the lower right edge of the frame to turn the lighting on and to cycle between the three lighting settings. I like the second setting best ( it's kind of a soothing vanilla-colored light). There is also a stand that I haven't used yet, but which should be very handy for beading and other close work. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 because I think it could be a little more rugged. I'm concerned that the PVC lens might scratch easily, but it does come with a soft storage bag to protect it. Overall, I am very pleased with this, and I highly recommend it if you need a little help with fine print.

Gave to my 90yr grandmother . Uses it everyday. Loved that it had lights , could see better .

Leider reichte die Lupenleistung nicht aus. Außerdem war das Material nicht sehr stabil, alles Plastik. Auch die Lupe selbst war aus Kunstoff, kein Glas.

Fait bien le travail, mais les pieds semblent un peu fragile. À suivre
