After buying two similar priced competetive tv simulators from Amazon, AND sending them both back for non working timers, I tried this supplier. Brilliant, out of the box working simulator, bright and very effective, PLUS the essential timers worked precisely. Totally recommend this supplier's solution and am ready to buy another two (one for my upstairs and one my neighbour plus with a 20% follow on order discount)! It works! Others I have tried did not do what it said on their advert! Value for money: They are all similar priced at the lowered end and they are only used very infrequently for security Ease of use: Worked out of the box and the Chinese to English translated instructions are totally understandable.

I have never thought about something like this to make would-be thieves think that you are in when you are out! This light unit actually casts a similar light into the room from what a TV does. It flickers differing colours from white to red, blue to green, etc. So if you are looking for something for peace of mind when you are out late or are on holiday and you have not got an all singing all dancing alarm fitted to you house (and you don’t want to leave certain lights on in the house to make people think that someone is in) then this is a great gadget! They feel built to last and the construction is of pretty robust plastic. In the box you have the main unit, power lead (USB to jack), fixing adhesive plate and screws, and instruction manual. The main unit has a sensor on it so you can set it to detect when the lighting level drops and so it will switch on automatically. There are 4 settings to choose from: 1. Permanent on 2. Auto switch off after 2 hours 3. Auto switch off after 4 hours 4. Auto off after 6 hours There is also an off position too. I actually have mine fitted into a mechanical timer and I set it to certain times. This really does do a good job of illuminating a room with flickering light and it really does look like a TV is on when you look in through a window from outside when it is dark! I bought two of these and they are great value for money to do a simple job! Overall a neat little gadget that really does work!

Good light, weather it deters burglers who knows. Reasonable price and energy efficient

Smaller than I expected but seems to perform ok. The product description says 110-240v adaptor. is included but it’s not. All that comes with it is a USB A lead. You need a plug adaptor to power it. It says elsewhere it is battery powered, which is wrong. Over priced for what it is.

Superb product ... have on electrical timer .. looks at distance the real McCoy telly

A friend of ours told us about this. In fact, they have a large house in a semi-rural area, and they have two of these playing in rooms every evening for hours at a time. From the road it looks like the telly is on with people home and it looked so impressive. So we decide to get one. When we plugged ours in and popped onto our drive with the blinds drawn in the evening we were so thrilled. *Perfect value for money *The timer function works well and is very handy *Battery life seems fine so far *Simple and easy to easy *Bright enough to see from quite a distance
