Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary: Paperback + DVD + Premium Online Access Code

I bought it for use in the assessment because I am a law student in the UK came from overseas. It is really useful and excellent to find any word that I am puzzled with the meaning and it also helps me how to write and speak English well.

Simply the best dictionary. Go for OALD and not for the simple version . A must for every house, an excellent present

Really compact but extensive dictionary. Me and my family have already fallen for it.

Product (dictionary book and dvd) is very good. Packaging was not good, so some leaves of the book were bent.

A fabulous dictionary for both learners and teachers of EFL.

El diccionario más equilibrado que podemos encontrar, muy bien editado, letra legible, portada plástificada resistente, permite un manejo exhaustivo para estudiantes de nivel medio alto y avanzado… Mucha información de cada palabra: _ definiciones comunes, pero también menos usuales, cuando usarlas y ejemplos de frases enteras _ pronunciación de todas las palabras según alfabeto fonético estándar. _ versiones de las palabras según sean nombres, plurales, tiempos verbales, comparativos, superlativos, etc… _ formas diferenciadas entre inglés británico y americano _ sinónimos, antónimos, usos frecuentes, palabras similares… _ puntos gramaticales, sinónimos, Al final del libro contiene varias páginas con información gramatical y de aprendizaje, además de un pequeño pero muy práctico diccionario visual que permite percibir exactamente el nombre de algunos objetos. En el DVD hay una aplicación para mejorar la pronunciación de cada palabra por separado y en frases comunes, es una herramienta muy útil… Las únicas dos cosas que no me han gustado: _ la letra es ligeramente pequeña para mi personalmente, aunque debo reconocer que la información está bien organizada con colores, negritas y una edición esmerada, todo facilitando su consulta. _ esa forma de escribir las palabras “parti•das” según la estructura semántica, que en el estudio de un idioma extranjero confunde… En resumen, creo que es el mejor diccionario de inglés que se puede comprar en este rango de precios, ya que trae mucha información para los estudiantes más exigentes o los profesionales más responsables…

Ordentlich und ohne Mängel bekam ich dieses Dictionary geliefert. CD-Rom funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Immerhin ist es bereits im Gebrauch gewesen, die paar Gebrauchsspuren fallen nicht ins Gewicht, da die Freude über den Preis von 10,99 € überwiegt! Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Einkauf.

I’m a Big Fun for Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, English has become my new main languageoved since I moved to USA and this was the best Dictionary I came across to help me whenever I had time to learn on my own, the usages, detentions, and very comprehensive and easily undertstood examples. I had the 7th Edition but after perchasung the 8th Edition, I gave that to my brother. I still have the 8th edition, although I do recommended to buy smartphone app version for use on the go too. Delivery took a bit long at that time when I ordered it 2 years ago, but then again, it was international version so I'm sure it shipped from oversea! US versions wasn't available at that tome in US yet.
