Excellent Product
I bought this battery as my previous one was a Varta battery and lasted nearly 9 years. It has made the world of difference to my car. Fires up straight away now, the stop/start on my car is now working again. My only concern was that id have to put a BEM code into my car (as this battery doesnt come with one). But I fitted it in myself and everything worked fine. No codes needed to be entered and after a quick drive round all the lights on the dash panel disappeared. My car is a VW Tiguan, so im guessing most VW will be ok without a BEM code. Overall very happy with this product.

it's best to use an AGM specific charger
Breathed new life into my Stop Start system on my Cooper S. Strangely, it wasn't fully charged when it arrived. I also discovered that being an AGM battery, it's best to use an AGM specific charger, or at least one with an AGM setting. That was another £50, but not too miffed at this as I needed a new charger anyway. No idea of long-term quality, but being a genuine Varta, I assume it'll be as good as their previous batteries I've had in other cars. Delivery was very fast too. Heavy - so watch your back!

You need this for your Taxi
Bought this battery for my TX2 London Taxi. It is fantastic. I have tried alternative batteries which barely turn the engine over when it's cold. This battery spins the engine over so fast the cab starts within half a second of turning the key.

Good powerfull battery. Problem though is the bar code sticker does not have the BEM code..
Good powerfull battery installed 2 weeks ago. Problem though is the bar code sticker does not have the traditional Serial number & part number on it and BEM code which I need to code it into VCDS Battery Management. Had to jeopardise the existing code chamginv randomly the code. Hopefully it will last and doesn't producing any issues.

La batterie qui m'a été livrée n'a pas tenu un an. Elle ne restitue que 4Ah. Elle avait des signes de faiblesse dès le début, mais la voiture démarrait quand même. Maintenant elle est HS. J'ai demandé le remboursement ou le remplacement. Le vendeur ne répond toujours pas plus d'un mois après malgré l'intervention par écrit d'Amazon 5 fois.. J'ai été obligé d'en acheter une autre. Ce vendeur est à fuir.
