10 PCS WLC100 ST Soldering Tips Replace on SP40L SP40N WP25 WP30 WP35 WLC100

I purchased these tips for my Weller WLC100 Soldering Iron. I have been using these for stippling jobs and they are working quite well. The larger ones provide enough material for me to grind and sand them into unique shapes for the work I am doing. They are solid copper so they have good Heat transfer. Tips were delivered quickly and I would buy again for use with the WLC.

I make stained glass and seashell lamps (using the stained glass method) I've searched high and low for affordable, quality soldering tips that last more than a day. These tips last and come in a good variety. I will be back to purchase more. Thank you for making affordable soldering tips that last! *******Update. I have used the same tip for over 48 hours - these are hands down the best tips I have found. It has not been compromised by this use. I will recommend these tips to anyone who needs a continuous use tip for stained glass or similar use. Thank you again for making this available!

These fit perfect for my Weller WLC100. They are much cheaper than official Weller tips too. I haven't tried every individual tip yet, but I'm quite happy so far. The ones I have used transferred heat well, and it is great that the package comes with so many different shaped tips, so you have what you need for just about every application.

Used the photos and details to make sure this item would fit my soldering iron.. the picture shows that all of the tips except for one (which is solid) have a hole. However, more than half of the tips are solid and only a fraction have a hole. They are incompatible, so I had to return them and look elsewhere.

I bought these for a Weller WLC100 soldering station that has an SPG40 iron. They seem to be as well made as the original Weller tips. The chrome plating on the shafts looks great, and the tips are nicely tinned at the tip. I tried the very smallest and the very largest tip in the set. Both heated at least as quickly as the originals, if not faster, not that the SPG40 is a speed demon heating up, but I was able to solder in about 1 minute. I used Kester 60/40 rosin core .050" solder. Once the iron was heated, I was able to solder at the 3-3.5 setting on the dial without any problems. I soldered 12 gauge wire with the large tip (4.2mm screwdriver tip) and 18 gauge wire with the smallest (.2mm conical tip). Normally I would not use that small of a tip for 18 gauge wire, but it worked holding it parallel to the wire without a problem. Hopefully they will last for years if properly taken care of, and far less expensive then the originals. Highly recommended!
