it a basic toolbox but it was exactly what i was looking for! it has a very retro look to it which i like a lot and there is plenty of room for stuff. the lock seems very secure although i wish there were two. it is build very tough and the handle makes it easy to transport. it is a very functional tool box and looks very nice.

Great little toolbox for my RC portable box. Well made and has a certain touch of class being from Japan. It is metal and should be very durable for the long haul. It is very handy and functions well for my use as it latches securely and has a comfortable handle. If you need a compact toolbox and can spend a little more than a plastic box, I can heartily recommend it.

I'm extremely satisfied with this toolbox and will be buying more. I really like that there are no seams, just one piece of stamped carbon steel for the bottom, and another for the lid. The steel is sturdy and plenty thick to be durable. Everything is steel, the handle, latches, all of it. The latches open and close easily while still being tight enough to keep the lid from rattling when it's closed, and are sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight. I am not worried about it falling open while carrying it loaded with tools. The blue paint on this toolbox is gorgeous, and that's not something you hear much about tools this box is an actual investment and makes my more expensive plastic boxes look cheap sitting among them I absolutely plan on buying more.

I purchased 3 of these in 2014, filled them with tools for my then older teen sons, and gifted them for Christmas, thinking it would be practical, but not appreciated until they were older. THEY HAVE LOVED THESE since the moment they got them, and they have used them countless times. These boxes are fantastic, heavy duty, and hard to dent or scratch. My only wish is that they were just a little bit larger, because honestly, you just never seem to have enough room for all the tools you aquire, but for a good standard hand tool kit, this is fantastic. You should however note, there is just no way you are fitting a power tool inside this box, this would be exclusively for a small set of basic powerless hand tools.

Well made toolbox with one compartment. The steel and clasp feel like very good quality. It will surely outlive me. The color green is beautiful! I’m very happy with this purchase!

this thing is solid, amazingly well built. I like it's aesthetics, great design that evokes the nostalgia of good tools and materials of an era before plastic. I'd buy 100 of these TRUSCO boxes if I could.

I have several Trusco toolboxes, and each one is well crafted, durable, and dependable. I keep different categories of tools and supplies in them so they make organization so much better. One of the best purchases you can make.

I wanted something to store some seed packets in a cool area of our house and ended up liking this product WAY more than expected. The standard seed packets we have are around 4x6 inches, and though they don't lie down flush (along the depth of the box - they do, however, fit length-wise), the box was large enough to store several packets plus 4 packs of garlic bulbs (3 bulbs in each) waiting to be planted. The material seems durable and the latch is strong, does not feel flimsy whatsoever. I did get this on sale so it was definitely worth the money. This is great for small garden tools and your garden gloves as well.

This is my favourite tool box as not only is it really well made, strong and sturdy, it's also the perfect size for all hose common tools for most projects. I can fit everything I need in it and just grab it and go.

I had seen a few reviews on these toolboxes and thought I would get one. I ended up buying two. This one and the 350. They are both beautiful. While other companies are pushing to cut costs, make production cheaper, use lower cost materials - these guys are making the same toolbox they have been making for years and years. The design is perfect. The steel is strong. The latch is great. The top and bottom fit together with precision. If you are a person who likes beautiful things, even in something as utilitarian as a toolbox, then this is for you. No plastic boxes for me anymore....I'll be buying more of these. And the postage was about 3 weeks faster than the estimate - so that's a bonus.
