ESV Journaling Study Bible (Cloth over Board, Blush/Ochre, Floral Design): Holy Bible, English Standard Version

This Bible is by far the best! I have several different kinds and this one has exceeding my expectations. It has every feature I love in a Bible. The only thing I would say is that the pages are very thin so when you highlight or write it goes through a little to the other side. It has an overview of every book before the book beginnings which is also something that is not common. I love the study notes and the journaling in one!

I am used to KJV bibles and since I started attending another church that uses this version, I swapped my Bible. I love that I can take notes in this and I also have another notebook I use with it. Its easier to understand and I find myself reading more. The cover does pick up some lint here and there. I have a dog and cat. I like that it comes with a sleeve you can store it in. The only thing is that its heavy but it has increased my faith and I have learned a lot from it because it has explanations of the scriptures. I have recommended this to friends and family.

got this as a gift for my sister and she loves it. the pages have plenty of room and they aren’t too thin to write on! i honestly wanted to even keep it for myself hehe

I recently added the ESV Journaling Study Bible to my collection, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite resources for Bible study and verse mapping. This Bible is gorgeous! My previous ESV study bible had too small of print and the pages were too thin. So I was having a hard time reading the text because of the visible text from the other side of the page. This one is wonderful as the pages feel very substantial to me. i have not yet written in it yet and am in search of the perfect highlighter and pen to use but I am not concerned about bleed through. But for all the folks saying it has tissue paper thin pages, I feel they have not truly experienced tissue paper thin. One of the pictures attached shows my old Bible on the left compared with this new one. Just the transparency through the paper should give you an idea of how different (and better) the pages feel. I highly recommend this Bible if you are looking for a solid journaling AND study Bible. It really has everything I was looking for in one. It is sturdy enough for me to tote around and the storage box for the shelf is an added bonus to keep it looking good. 👍

This Bible has many wonderful features but the thickness of the pages is not one. The paper is very thin & you can see the writing & imprint of the writing on the other side. This IS NOT a good journaling Bible. Very disappointing it was set up for journaling when you really can’t write on it without making it hard to read your notes. I will try different inks & pens. If I find one that doesn’t bleed thru, the I will change my review. But I doubt it because they have thinner pages than all my other Bibles.

Best bible I’ve owned. I’ve enjoyed the writing space and all the study notes.

Beautiful Bible. I love it. It is small front and little harder to read but it’s worth it.

Beautiful bible. Has lots of room for writing in the columns. Lays flat. Has a lot of info in the back of the bible for new believers. Got this at a great price point for 30 dollars on sale.

Bible is really beautiful, I love the cover and there’s space for me to write me notes when I read my bible. So simple yet elegant. I love my old bible but some chapters don’t enough space to write my notes, So I thank God I was able to buy this bible

I already owned a study Bible, but I love this one even more. It goes into greater detail with clear descriptions, making it easier to learn and understand. I also like that it connects with the Crossway app, so you can listen along if you ever struggle to follow or read certain parts.
