Betron Portable Small Bluetooth Speaker Wireless with Aux for Travel Home iPhone Samsung Phone Tablet Built-In Microphone Rechargeable

I initially bought this to use for a dissertation project in a dog kennels. Therefore I needed a cheap speaker which was easily transported and could be placed in a kennel block without obstructing daily duties. The sound quality was excellent. Better than I initially expected for a lower budget device. The battery lasted a full 3 hours of constant use. I haven't used it for longer, however it still had charge remaining after the 3 hours. It's smaller size meant it could easily be transported and placed in areas without getting in the way of anything. It connected to my phone, computer and iPad very quickly and remains connected when I moved into other rooms etc. The only thing that I would say that bothered me at first was the volume control, as at first I would accidentally change tracks rather than adjust the volume as it is the same buttons. But after a while, I got used to it and doesn't effect it's usability. Very happy with the product. It will get plenty of use!

Why did you choose this product over others?: IT PLAYS .WAV FILES! (via the micro sd card slot) Is also USB C now. These two details are not mentioned in the product marketing but are two of the best features. I've been using one since 2018 (old micro-usb model) and its still going strong. Best mini speaker you can buy without breaking the bank. This one hits high pitched notes that others in this price range dont and they sound muffled in comparison. It unfortunately still has an on and off sound effect that may disturb others at night but ive been running mine constantly plugged in for years (yes, years non stop!) so not an issue. Product quality: Excellent build all round, just the side buttons are cheap feeling but not a big deal.

This speaker of about the size of a regular coffee mug. Pairing was very easy and fast, no problems at all. Re-pairing after power off was more or less instant. The LEDs are a gimmick, no problem with them though. While the sound is clear and not tinny, I would take issue with anyone claiming the slightest bit of bass. OK... I just put on Kaya by Bob Marley to see... well you *can* hear the bass guitar but not in a way that sounds remotely bassy. VEry nice and clear for speech but if it was for anything other than a very portable music solution I'd spend more and get more enjoyment - bass needs to move air and this is done either with a larger speaker - at least 4" in diameter I'd suggest.

This is the only Bluetooth speaker I own so I can't compare this to other brands. But I thought it was worth the money if you're new to Bluetooth gadgets and want to play music from your phone. I'm very satisfied with this purchase

So working in the garden listening to music outside on your phone is naff. How to rectify this without busting the bank? Easy buy this Bluetooth speaker. It is excellent for what it is, I’m Sure there are better more expensive ones on the market. This little unit though packs a punch and the sound is crisp and clear. The only downside was no instructions came with the unit, but it wasn’t a major problem. Once I figured out how to switch it on, it connected straight away. It even has coloured lights you can turn on or off as well. They don’t enhance the sound in anyway at all but it’s something worth mentioning. Would I recommend this speaker? YES!!!’ It’s a steal.

As others have noted the instructions such as they are aren't great. My mistake first was that as the button on the bottom was the button for the LED lights when they came on I thought I had turned it on and nothing was happening as to Bluetooth on my computer. Later in frustration I pressed each button until it sprang to life. I then noticed that the instructions did identify the on/off button so that was my mistake. The on/off button is the last one in the row on the speaker as it is standing upright on the right hand side. The buttons are marked with the usual markings but are hard to see as they are black on a black background. It would be good if they were some contrasting colour which might wear off in time but by then you may know where everything is. Not keen on the up and down volume being the same button as the skip backwards or forwards as it is all to easy to accidentally skip a track rather than turning the volume up or down (which I did several times.) It is mentioned that you can connect it up with the included USB or the 3.5 jack which is great (although I haven't tried that yet.) You have to press the M (multi function button) to use the cables. However the instructions do not show where the multi function button so that is still a mystery to me. I have emailed the seller to ask if they can shed light on where this is. All in all this is quite a neat little piece of kit which (once you get it turn on) does not take up as much space as my old speakers and does not take as much time setting up. It does give a nice room filling sound but I am not an audio expert so as long as I can hear it and it is reasonably rich I am happy. The volume/skip button is a problem which is why I have only given it 3 stars.

As with any reduced, very cheap item, I was a little dubious as to how good this would be but I was very pleasantly surprised. It is small and compact, very easy to use and the sound quality is excellent; I use music apps to play through the speaker but if your phone is paired, you can also listen to voicemails and voice notes, if required. I use it a lot in the kitchen whilst cooking (away on the window ledge and the sound carries well) and whilst I am outside gardening. It is a good little speaker to pop on the table, when having BBQs. The speaker does exactly what I need but I wouldn't recommend this for say, a house party. Unless of course you bought a few and had them dotted around the house - I am sure it would simply be a case of paring all devices to your phone.

Let’s start with the several misspelled words in the instructions and continue with the fact that they were so small that a magnifying glass is needed. These speakers are usually so easy to pair and use but I still haven’t figured this one out. Because it was form specific purpose I didn’t try it out until after the return window (my fault) But it would definitely have gone back otherwise.
