THE IDEAL 'SIMPLE' MOBILE PHONE.
Having struggled with mobile phones with small keypads or touch screens, I have been delighted with the simplicity and ease of use that this phone offers. It has a good sized keyboard and clear sound, which is particularly useful if your vision is not perfect and you are hard of hearing. Sending text messages is facilitated by the size of the keys and the fact that the letters relating to a particular key press is displayed on the screen, with the current one highlighted. The display is clear and logical and the whole feel of the instrument is one of good quality. For someone looking for a simple phone and not requiring it to have a camera, I would recommend this one as being ideal.

Good phone, plenty of volume and very clear
Good phone, plenty of volume and very clear, easy to set up and use, but be aware that if you wish to use this model hands free via the "sync" connection in ford cars, 2012 c-max for sure, can't say about other models, it will not pair. Amplicomms tell me that there are variations in Bluetooth systems, something new to me, also the phone does not appear in Fords list of connectable models. Still a good phone but something to consider.

Amplicom, not for everyone
Nice clear face and well presented but not for me. Bought it as I have some loss of hearing and my old Nokia getting a bit battered. Unfortunately, however much I tried with varied setting the voice clarity was , for me, poor. It was certainly very loud but whereas I can always have a conversation with my Nokia I was constantly frustrated with the Amplico. Another minus point is the texting set-up. Very cumbersome compared to any other phone and in the end too annoying to use. Returned my for a refund which Amazon dealt with efficiently.

A fine phone, and I ahve another already
A fine phone, and I ahve another already. BUT this one, unbelievably, turned up with no battery included. I am of ocurse onto this, but you need to be aware of the possibility, it seems.

Well designed phone for older people
I purchased this as a Christmas present for an elderly resident so it has not yet been tested in use, but it seems very well designed for the purpose. The keys are large and easy to use and, although the phone is compact, it is not difficult to hold. The screen is clear and there is plenty of volume. You will need to print out the manual from the DVD included - there should really be a printed manual for this category of user. Two things I particularly like: the heavy stand which helps in charging the phone, and the SOS button which slides rather than presses to operate. I have another relative whose phone has a press button SOS function and she is always generating false alarms. So, very pleased so far.

Mobile phone
This was recommended by which. At the moment I am having problems getting started & transferring my phone numbers over. I thought they would be automaticly transferred but I lost them all. My step son helped me to transfer some . Now i cannot seem to be able to answer the phone. It stops ringing before I can answer.

Perfect for elderly parent - might get one for myself!
I was looking for a mobile for Dad(95) who was finding his old one too fiddly. I chose this because he can't press the keys inadvertently and it had keys of the right size. The screen is a good size too and it is really user friendly. Also LOUD!! Had to take it to Vodafone shop to get it set up as his existing Sim would not work but that was free. All in all, excellent product. My only criticism is it would be good to be able to affix a carry strap like he had before.

Easy to set up for him with excellent volume both ...
Bought this for my elderly hard of hearing technophobic dad. Easy to set up for him with excellent volume both for ring and speech. Easy and simple for him to use. Light and compact but not insubstantial. good quality all round for the price we paid. My only complaint is that the instructions are on a computer disc, He doesn't have a computer so needed to print off 96 pages of instructions for him
