Vaultek DS2i Smart Station

So far, so good! This is a great safe. I've owned a few handgun safes, and this one blows the other two away. It is easy to operate and open. I like the fact that it has an internal battery. No more changing out double AAA batteries or forgetting to change them only to find out you're locked out of your safe and forgot where you put the key. Valtrek made it easy. If your power goes out or you lose power, the safe will be operable for a few days. It comes with an app that keeps access times long. That said, I looked at more affordable safes that do the same thing. This is for a handgun that I never use and only keep for home protection. With that, I wonder if I overpaid for something I'll never open. The size is nice—not too big, not too small. It fits perfectly on any nightstand. It pops/slides open quickly with the code or fingerprint. I don't know if it's worth the hefty price tag. I waited almost two years to purchase this with the 200-dollar credit card rebate during Prime Day with the 5% back. Prime Visa is one of the better credit cards out there, and I use it for all my purchases. In one week, I've already seen twenty-five dollars in savings! With my spending habits on Amazon, this card will pay for this safe in no time.

The VAULTEK Smart Station is a fantastic smart safe with impressive features. The biometric lock works but won't always open on the first try. It's good that besides biometrics you have a pin option and a backup key and the built-in wireless phone charger is a nice bonus. It’s compact and well-designed, perfect for smaller pistols or valuables. However, my 10mm feels a bit cramped inside—it’s a tight fit, but it works. If you’re storing smaller handguns, this safe is perfect. Overall, 5 stars for security, convenience, and innovative features. Just keep the size in mind when considering what to store!

Very nice safe with easy to customize controls on the app including interior (and exterior display) light brightness, different fingerprints and notification settings, etc. I like knowing that my daily carry items are out of curious fingers; that alone is priceless! Having the quick access by the bedside with the biometric scanner has been good peace of mind. This is the perfect addition to your regular stand up pee pew safe.

High quality multifunctional gun safe. Can secure two semi-automatic hand guns. Bluetooth app works great within 15 feet.

Package received next day with in garage delivery and in perfect condition. Unit was fairly easy to set up after watching the youtube instructions via the qr code and 'quick start up' guide that comes with it. It is a very sturdy and substantial unit, attractive with an easy to use touch screen front panel. I have set the fingerprint system up but it seems to have difficulty reading them now the next day, failing 1 out of 3 times. I will reset the finger prints to see if that helps and report back. I use this part of my home security system.

I bought this for my husband as a gift. He's been wanting one for a while. He is very happy with it. Quality is great. No problems with the fingerprint reader. Love the light inside. Perfect size and fits perfectly on his nightstand. Most importantly keeps things safe from our kids or from other getting in it. My husband also loves that he's able to charge his phone on it. Yes it's pricey but worth it.

I have both the DS2i and DS5i. Love them both. High quality and very reliable. Con on the DS2i is i carry a small pistol, Sig P365, and a typical kydex holster. And you can't fit the gun in the holster as it's too wide. You have to unholster it and keep the holster next to the safe. My DS5i will allow the gun to be stored in the holster, there's just more depth. The Con of the DS5i is that it takes batteries and the DS2i has a built in battery. I don't like to think about changing batteries so I prefer the built in lithium battery of the DS2i. Overall though I am very happy with both safes and much better than the hornady nightstand safe I previously used.

Bright. Sturdy. Enough space for a 43X, mag, and 4 auto knives. Display is bright, charger for the phone works easily, and programming biometrics and combo was an absolute breeze. Love the product!

Excelente para almacenaje seguro. El cargador inalámbrico funciona muy bien, y el cargador tipo C es de carga rápida. Muy estético pues parece un despertador. La pantalla solo es un reloj, indica humedad del interior, y temperatura interior. Si la recomiendo para guardar lo que sea y tenerlo a mano rápido.
