SFF build and all. It worked perfectly. The stock screws had no problem threading into this. My only super-petty tiny minor gripe is how plain this thing looks. You never see this when it's installed so aesthetics would be meaningless but, still. Just make sure to protect your socket pins when installing! Review: Likely needs modification for your board - Required modification to fit to ASRock X870 Pro RS as there are components on the back of the board. Had to cut close to screw holes to fit it. Once modified it worked just as one would expect. I am sure the cost could come down if they just made a slim square around the screw holes and left out most of the material, it appears with 2of the holes that is the minimum width to create the bracket.

Worked Great, Easy Install

What a scam. Roman, give my money back LOL
First I bought the delid tool for 7950x and the direct die kit. The temps were horrible with my 3x120mm rad and Heatkiller CPU waterblock. Worse than original, reaching 120c and shutting down. I thought the mounting pressure was not enough and ordered the short backplate (this product) and over that put the original backplate and mounted my CPU block. Still horrible temps. The issue is that you will never be able to mount it flush to your CPU block thus the horrible temps. DO NOT DELID RYZEN 7000!!! Seriously :)

Doubling Up ?
Are You Supposed To Double Up The Backplates By Using Original And The Short Plate? Sounds To Me Not. Cooler Is Not Making Correct Contact. I'm Only Speculating Here, For I Have Not Read Instructions On Proper Installation. Good Luck...
