The metal mounting plate that comes with the doorbell leaves exposed the wires. This helps to cover them up and gives the whole doorbell a sleeker look. Why nest doesn't include these with their doorbells is beyond me.

I was a bit scared to make this purchase. There were other reviews of this wallplate not being the correct size. It worked great for me. No issues and my install look better. Just make sure you confirm you are getting the correct wallplate for your Google Nest doorbell. I have the wired version which is smaller than the battery version.

It’s ok. It matches well with the doorbell and was upper east to put on. I had a Ring doorbell prior to installing this and when I took off the ring, there was a hole that you could see coming from the side of the nest doorbell. So I got this to cover that up. It serves its purpose.

Did a great job of covering up a large hole left by the original doorbell installer. Looks great and fits the Google doorbell very well. A+

What a waste of time waiting for it. I’m guessing the seller wants people to write off the 14 dollars and not return it. NO WHERE NEAR THE RIGHT DIMENSIONS TO EVEN ATTEMPT TO DRILL OUT CORRESPONDING SCREW HOLES. On top of that, it’s really flimsy cheap material

Mounting plate was perfect for us because it covered up a larger than expected hole in the stucco where the doorbell wires come out. The nest doorbell fits perfectly on top of it and is quite secure.

I just finished installing the Nest gen 2 wired doorbell. This cover plate was the perfect fit for my Nest Doorbell. It also covered a large unsightly hole from the previous traditional doorbell. I purchased the white plate and then painted it to my wall. Great price and very happy with the look.

This was exactly what I was looking for. We were upgrading our doorbell and had to cover up a hole the size of a 50 cent piece.Preferable I would have liked this to be in linen link the doorbell (they have it for the battery version) but it did exactly what I needed it too. I silicones around it to give it a more seamless look on our stucco wall.Unlike what some others have stated. This does work with the standard tilt mount that comes with the device. It also looks just fine if you choose to use the standard wall mounting bracket without the tilt mount that comes with the device. You will need original hard to ensure it will fit properly with it.
