All time Classic Christian devotional book. Been my favorite for years. Has a deferint meaning each year. And I have given doven of them away through the years. It's a must buy and read.

I was surprised when it arrived — it’s noticeably smaller than I expected. But that turned out to be a good thing. It’s the perfect size to throw in a bag for trips, keep on the kitchen table for morning reading, or leave on the nightstand.The binding is a beautiful dark green (I thought it was black from the photos), and the silver gilded pages give it a nice touch. Several friends saw it and immediately said they loved this book too.What I appreciate most is that it’s short, direct, raw, and to the point — no fluff or gimmicks. Just powerful daily truth from Oswald Chambers. Exactly the kind of devotional I actually use and enjoy every day.Highly recommend.

I love Oswald Chambers books. This updated language makes it so much easier to read and understand. It is my favorite devotion book. His insight into a relationship with Jesus and the Bible is life changing.

I thoroughly enjoy this booknand It's daily messages that are inspiring and heartfelt to reflect your growth in your spiritual journey and to ground you as you go about your daily tasks. It's always a reminder of our creators intent for our lives and putting Him and the message of God's love first and foremost in your mind. Each daily devotional is thought provoking and reaffirms your faith through scripture. Highly recommend!

This is the best devotional I have ever used. His ability to help the reader understand the the ways of truly being able to follow Christ is unmatched. The most inspirational and transformational devotional for all generations.

What wonderful lessons to study and meditate on. Pure truth, and he doesn't pull his punches! I had to buy a second copy for a dearly friend.

Truly an outstanding devotion book for everyday in the year. Some are hard to digest but they really get you to measure your faith. Highly recommended.

This classic devotional gives us the insights of one who is far ahead of most of us in spiritual growth. His teachings are both encouraging and challenging us to continual growth in the spiritual life. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in growing spiritually.

Für mich persönlich, ist der Autor dieses Buches nicht Oswald Chambers sondern James Reimann, denn er hat hier seine eigene Gedanken geschrieben.Er meint, eine modernere Version des Buches von Chambers gemacht zu haben, aber für mich ist es leider nicht so.Viele tiefen Gedanken von Chambers sind ganz weg gelassen wurden, leider.Und die deutsche Übersetzung ist noch schlimmer, ich wiederhole, für mich.Die Übersetzerin, Marlies Stubenitzky, scheint der Einzig, Wahrer, Lebendiger GOTT überhaupt nicht zu kennen.Denn sie meint, ER hat uns "aus Freundlichkeit errettet" und nicht AUS GNADE, wie es in Epheser 2:8-9 ganz deutlich steht, und auch in vielen anderen biblische Texte.Es ist schade, dass viele Verlagshäuser -in die USA und andere englischsprachige Länder-, die Versionen in anderen Sprachen nicht kontrollieren.Deswegen die zwei Sterne.Ich empfehle, wenn möglich, die Bücher in der original Sprache zu lesen, und nicht fehlerhafte Übersetzungen oder sogennante revidierte Versionen, wie diese.

This was a real surprise! I can’t put into words how many blessings I received through this devocional! Truly, the best devocional ever!

I love the depth of his understanding of God's ways. It is inspiring and challenging, to live this way each day. Will re-read this often to "keep on track".
