Arizona Garage
Install was straight forward if you are handy with tools. This was my first attempt at installing a mini split. Probably took me a little longer than most due to removing drywall to hide all the lines. I borrowed all the tools to install. You can order a kit here on amazon for a decent price. Considering how much HVAC companies want for a simple install like this. I installed the 18k btu in a 960 sq ft garage that is fully insulated and has finished drywall. Wanted to wait until after the full summer to review. Impressed!! Beyond impressed actually. No notice of increased power bill, the garage stayed a perfect temp all summer. I was finally able to use my garage/shop during the summer. It inspired me to finish a bunch of projects that I was putting off. I don't use any of the phone applications so I can't comment on that. The remote works great. I had the temp set at 79 degrees and never turned it off until October. I haven't and won't use the heat part of the unit. It's Arizona. Quality product for a great price. Side note. I researched for months before buying. From York to Rovsun. The debate is over.

Outstanding Product
I installed this almost a year ago in my garage and I could not be happier. Installation was fairly straightforward, but it does take a fair amount of DIY home repair knowledge. I had my AC company release the refrigerant and check for leaks. I was going to install a condensate trap, but my AC company told me you should not do that on a mini-split system. I used a tube cover kit for the outside lines. One thing to know is that the fan, which is very quiet, is on constantly (even it the outside unit is not running). The temperature differential of the air going into the interior unit versus the cooled air coming out was almost 30 degrees Fahrenheit, which I think speaks to the efficiency of the unit. While there has been an increase to our electric bill and the electric use of the unit is hard to quantify, I believe the increase has been less that $15 per month (we live in south FL and keep the temperature at 82 degrees when I am not in the garage and lower it to 78 when I am in the garage - the temperature measurement is up at approx. 8 feet, so the temperature is lower at working levels). I did not think I would use the WIFI capabilities, but I have found the app to be quite useful, including the ability to control the unit while traveling. I have not had any need for technical support, so I cannot comment on that.

Quality Built
Insalled the 18,000 but unit , very easy to do. set the Outside unit on a precast pad. Followed the instruction on Vacuming the line set, unit is so quiet if you are right next to it the only way to know its running is to see the fan move. cools fantastic. will buy more.

Pretty satisfied!!
Came with everything it needed except the outdoor mount, easy installation, unity is kinda heavy and took three people to install/mount. Been using it to heat our 680 sp ft house and is doing great!

BUYER BEWARE: 2 YEAR UPDATE
I'm glad I didn't review this after just a month, because at that point, it was working and blowing cold in my sealed garage in the middle of a Florida summer. FAST FORWARD 2 YEARS and this unit has kicked the bucket. Since it was $700 to begin with, it's not worth paying the $200 to have it diagnosed, and certainly not the extra $300 on top of that to fix it. I'm not mad it's a 2 year unit, although I'd be justified- I'm mainly just mad I didn't buy the other brand that was $300 cheaper that I would've only expected to last 2 years. Buyer beware: You'll love the unit at first, but after 1-3 years, if you weren't already anticipating having to replace it, you have some buyers remorse.

Great AC/Heater!
Great AC/Heater unit does the job well. I would recommend hiring someone to install it for you but if you know how to install an AC unit you can install it with just two people. The design looks good and isn't loud at all. It's pretty big but I like the size. And keeps the room ether warm in winter or cool in the summer.

The deer camp buddy
Bought the 18,000 btu 230 volt unit. Came with everything as advertised. I'm actually an HVAC guy who doesn't like mini splits, but my deer camp president insisted on putting one in his cabin. So I finally gave in and did it after pushing him off for 2 years. The install was smooth as we put it on an exterior wall with a gravity drain set up. I did put the lineset/head unit on a vacuum pump and pulled it down to below 300 microns. The system works beautifully in heating and cooling. I'm very pleased with the outcome and performance of the system. The cabin owner (deercamp president) was so pleased, he gave me a free membership for life. I got it made... up until it breaks. Lol.!! For the money, I'll just buy another one and swap it out. Membership cost $2500.00 a year. I could replace the system twice a year and still come out on top. So far so good. Wished I would have done this sooner. Time will tell of it's reliability.
