I had an old Bother HL-2240 laserjet that I’ve printed on maybe 4 to 6 times over a 12 year period but it was USB only. I could’ve gone out and justified buying a fancy new wireless MFC or something crazy like that or if you want to save a good chunk of money this little guy is your perfect answer. If you just need to add connectivity to a USB Only printer and you have basic networking skills and a basic understanding of IPs and how they assign to devices this is absolutely worth its wait in gold. My wife has printer out at least 25+ shipping labels in the past two weeks alone. Super great value at under $40 bucks!!

So far stilll works. Followed instructions and additional google search tips to make it worked. To be honest, not a IT guy so not sure how I made it work. But temporarily solved my issue for a network printer with my old printer.

worked great once I found the proper driver's had to Google them directly on Google. But it works as it should. I couldn't find the correct drivers on their website, but if you try in on Google you will find the drivers that you need.

I have used an old Hawkins brand USB print Server for a Dymo label printer for over 10 years. It finally died and I needed a replacement. This one does the trick with more modern features but still supports older LPR technology. If fact, as soon as I set the IP address to what I had the other one set to, it started printing some labels in the queue on a PC in the network. Couldn't be happier.

So, this product is VERY difficult to setup and I’m an IT Professional. Drivers DO NOT EXIST for this product, only the manuals. Support has been useless. Be very careful on purchasing this product and know what you’re doing. It works, just wasn’t easy to setup.

I purchased this print server thinking what a perfect idea. The idea is substantially sound but the implementation is bad. The software needs a lot of work.1. DHCP did not work on my network on initial connection. I had to factory reset the device twice before it would work.2. The dual software could be combined into one deliverable.3. Whenever i boot my machine i see the software connect on bootup. I have had to manually connect the printer. Even if I manually connect the printer in the software it does not guarantee that the printer will connect and printer. The statistical average is around 10% for it to print successfully. Instead of fighting with the software are reinstalling it, I just walk into the next room and plug the printer into machine.4. Statically setting the ip address could be easier.Again work on the software.
