This thing is gorgeous! I've been going nuts looking for a nice book of tattoo history to give an aspiring tattoo artist to inspire them to keep it up. This fits the bill. It's well put together, the old flash images it includes are great, the history is there, and it isn't super dry. It's great to see references to the Black Panthers, women's lib, and the Stonewall riots. The cover is gorgeous too, with metallic details on the slip. It's a great gift, and one of my favorite buys this year.
