Perfect on their own, questionable in a stack.
I've been using these for nearly a year now and they're really useful. I don't stack them though. This is because without perfectly even sunlight, they're just blocking the light of each other the further it goes down. Some plants might be able to branch out far enough that this doesn't matter but in the end it seems impractical. I like them as pots on their own, so I recommend these.

too small
quality wise, nothing wrong with them just as if you bought in the shop, however they are rather small. i tried some strawberries and herbs, however few weeks later had to transfer everything in bigger pots so not sure what would you use these ones for.

Quite flimsy
Quite flimsy, much improved by putting a metal pole down the middle. Care taken when drilling the holes for this. Now mounted off the ground on an old beer barrel. Takes a surprisingly large amount of compost to fill which makes it heavy. However doing the job well with strawberry plants in 3 tiers, lettuce in two and marigolds on top

Best strawberries so far.
Lovely bright colours. Wouldn’t stack them more than six high unless on very flat ground with no chance of being knocked as they become unstable. Been successful at growing strawberries for the first time.

These are a great space saver and I've had a bumper harvest of strawberries this year. I've bought some more ready for next years plants.
